Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Strong coffee and great selection for breakfast. Would stay here again.

I understand that hotels want to be open during renovations, but I guess they should discount rates if that’s the case. The guest room I was given a key to hasn’t been cleaned, so it strewn with take out containers and used linens. I dragged my bags back down to the lobby to see if I could get a room that had been cleaned. I told the pleasant person on duty that my only requirement was quiet, since I would be switching to a day-sleeping schedule during my stay. She put me in a room on a floor that was being renovated, so I awoke to power tools and loud banging nice and early. I asked for a third room, and this time scored a room that required, in order to take a shower (at any time of day) running the hot water in the sink for, seriously, 15 to 20 minutes beforehand (no exaggeration here), and then running the shower itself for about 5 full minutes to get some hot water. This was described as completely normal for the suites (so I was paying a little more for this feature). By the time I left, the lobby was being painted, and I figured on my next visit I’d probably stay somewhere else. I know that many hospitality businesses are struggling to maintain adequate staff, but it was unsettling how often the front desk was unmanned and had no bell to ring.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.We strive for every guest to have an exceptional experience at our hotel. We have fallen short of this experience with you and your family. We are currently working with our team in maintenance and housekeeping to rectify all issues you have addressed. We were under the understanding that bathroom doors were being switch out and that it would be very seamless, which to my dismay was not the case. I was the one that moved you to the 3rd floor for a quiet room. It is not normal to have to ask you to run the water, however when rooms are not occupied for a time being, hot water does need to be ran in a sink to plumb the lines. In a normal situation, we would have done this prior to arrival so no one knows. I do apologize that you felt it was ok from me to allow this. It was not, I simply was trying to get you what you needed fast. Since, we have fallen short please accept our sincerest apologies for all inconveniences that were caused. We hope that you considered using the Hampton Inn and Suites in Walla Walla again for your travel needs.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, great breakfast. Super clean, lovely stay! Will stay again. Became a Hampton/Hilton rewards member because we liked it so much!

Lovely room which was very accessible. But, the wall unit for heating was very loud when it came on. Only area of improvement.
