Maine 2024
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved Maine! The area was beautiful and within a decent range of neighboring towns that we planned on visiting. We’d love to be back in the future, maybe closer to summer. Lots of businesses were still closed for the season but we still had a great time! Trivia night at Fèile’s was super fun :)

Great place to stay

Great Little Retreat
Publié le 15 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThis condo was located in a great little resort. Neighbors were super friendly. Many were very familiar with the area and gave us lots of great recommendations of places to visit. The room was slightly smaller than I had expected, but it still worked for us (2 adults and 2 small children). The owners were very helpful and responsive. Then even had the pullout couch prepared since we let them know that's where our kids would sleep. Several places are within walking distance including an ice cream place we loved. The road is a little busy during the day though so we had to be extra careful with small kids. The pool was nice and clean and had plenty of toys and floats for the kids. The tables, chairs and umbrellas around the pool were also very nice. It was our first visit to Maine and we loved it!

Retreat? There's no treat here
Publié le 24 nov. 2018 sur HomeAwayOne is hit with the overwhelming smell of must upon entering the studio apartment. The lumpy King mattress on bricks is topped with stained pillows. The two pullout couches allow them to sleep at least 6 in a studio apartment! Older complex, right on the highway. I will not return.

We apologize that you were so unhappy with your stay and wish that you would have let us know what we could have replaced to make your stay more comfortable. The king bed frame has already been replaced. We replace pillows frequently as well. We do have to correct misinformation, however. This property is not located on he highway. It is located on Rte 1 which all have found convenient as it is very close to the beach. We also do not allow more than 4 guests (this is stated in our listing) and we rarely have more than 2 guests. The sleeper sofas are mostly to help us accommodate those who have children. We are constantly working to improve our property and guest satisfaction is important to us so we take all feedback very seriously. Thank you.
