Lots of light
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was great, nicely remodeled, and clean. Not a lot of frills but that was okay with us because we were always on the go. The only issue was no window coverings in the upstairs bedroom that brought in lots of light. There was no sleeping late or it was hard to take an afternoon nap, otherwise everything was great.

Nice place except mouse issue

We found traps moved to behind fridge, and no mouse in the morning. Not very effective. Owner told us it was the cool season. Difficult to communicate with owner or VRBO due to not having internet in home (which we knew) VRBO was less than helpful, during our stay or afterward. They wanted proof/ pictures of the mouse. We booked this home in April, before other renters had mouse issues. Reviews before summer were great. So dissatisfied. Also had to ask for dish towels and dish cloths. The microwave is VERY high. Seriously you have to be at least 6 foot to use it, and dangerous because you can’t see, hot food could certainly spill.

Nice property in the trees.

Nice stay in a great cabin!

a wonderful place for family stay
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMona rescheduled our booking to meet our schedule change. The cabin has a great location, only 12 minutes driving to west yellowstone and west entry of yellowstone park. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Kitchen is well equipped.
Addition of humidifiers will be a plus.

Yellowstone vacation
Publié le 11 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMona was kind and very helpful. Loved her place and the idea of being somewhat remote from town. Beautiful surroundings. Very clean and newly remodeled property. She accommodated us to our liking. We stayed 7 days, and would have liked to be able to wash our clothing as we hiked and swam in the water at Yellowstone daily. No washer or dryer was provided. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was extremely weak and unfortunately despite the nice flat screen TV's provided, could not be used due to weak connections. As pgone connections are quite poor, having Wi-Fi with stronger signal would have been a plus. All-in-all we would go back if we get a chance to stay here.

The way West
Publié le 18 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall ok stay, internet is intermittent couldn't watch evening tv, thought it had washer and dryer but didn't, upstairs bedroom suite was very nice, except no window treatments made sleeping difficult. So many windows with no coverage, was hard to sleep until very late, then early morning wake up light. We had a wonderful time in the area, park, museums and all things to do.

RODENT INFESTED! DO NOT STAY HERE! We were moved and refunded by VRBO
Publié le 5 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY HERE! There were live mice in the kitchen and living area. There was a dead splattered rodent under the fridge, with blood and guts spilled all over. There was large accumulations of rodent feces in the cabinets and shelves in the kitchen, in corners, and under furniture. Rodent brought seed under guest room bed covers. We saw the live mouse run across the pots and pans in the cabinet. Host did not apologize for the event and offered no type of refund and was dismissive of the issue. VRBO moved us to a hotel and provided us a refund, confirming the complete disgustingness of the property. Rude host and property is infested with live and dead rodents laying feces all over the place. This is the worst vacation rental experience I’ve ever had or personally heard about. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BOOK THIS PLACE.
