When you book into the Colonial Houses, know what you are getting into. The buildings are lovely, but old. The rooms are not plush. The bathrooms are small. We were the only people in an entire building with many bedrooms, yet we were placed on the second floor. Why? You can’t beat the location, and Williamsburg is so lovely, but there are more comfortable rooms available.

The Williamsburg Lodge has great facilities. We love the pool and the dining. You can walk to great shops and food too.
