Great location and condo
Publié le 9 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery comfortable, well-furnished condo. As requested, we had a first floor unit which was easily-accessible, with just one step into the unit. There are no reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities, so that was a bit of a challenge. Be aware that air circulation is not the best, with moderately-high CO2 readings (I opened window/door a bit for fresh air); main LR/DR was warm but bedrooms were quite cool/cold. Everything worked properly.
- main complaint:: condo was clean EXCEPT for 2nd bedroom which had not been cleaned - unmade bed, dirty towels in bathroom. Awful. Made several calls to front desk before this was fixed (about 2 hours later).
- Check in was confusing (they couldn't find our reservation, blaming it on the owner). After check-in, I was directed to the "guest services" counter, where the staff member began to describe "offers". I immediately said "no", at which point she was quite angry.
All in all, tho, I would consider staying here. Very nice accommodations, good location, very reasonable pricing.

Great location, but would probably stay somewhere else next time
Publié le 27 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe location was great and most of the staff were friendly. However, I would probably not return.
Main complaints: The rear left burner on the stove didn’t work. The unit desperately needs updating (paint, furniture, appliances). There are limited kitchen items (so don’t expect to do much cooking). The description made it sound like there was access to washer and dryer in the unit, but it’s actually in the upstairs hallway and you have to share it with the other unit. It is incredibly small and you can only wash a few items at a time so you end up monopolizing the washer and dryer if you have any kind of laundry to do.
The property itself felt safe and it did have an indoor pool, which was nice.

Hello, we are sorry that you felt that you had an average experience at Vacation Village Williamsburg. Each unit should have adequate kitchen supplies. Did you mention this problem or the burner problem to the front desk. We’ve always found that they make these things right within a couple of hours. Sometimes things have to be replaced due to broken or older items that require maintenance. The front desk has everything you need and are happy to ensure you have each necessary item in your unit. There are maintenance staff available to fix Any mechanical or structural problems within the unit. They are often able to fix this very quickly or swap you to a different unit if the issue necessitates this.
Many of the units have been upgraded and all will be upgraded in the near future. We have stayed in all units and found them to be nice and In Good condition regardless of the need for updated aesthetics.
We apologize for the confusion regarding the laundry. Many units do have washer/dryer inside the unit. Others do share units in the hall. We will update the listing to be more clear. Thanks for the feedback.

Mixed Review
Publié le 16 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived, there was spilled coffee on the kitchen's counter top and used soap bars in the master bathroom. The coffee table in the living room was pushed to the side suggesting vacuuming was completed in a hurry or the pull out bed had been used the night before. Housekeeping needs to step up a little more. Even so, we'll stay here again.
