Graduation trip
Posted May 28, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful family trip to our grandson’s graduation in Williamsburg. The KOALA agent helped us navigate through a cancelled fight and late arrival. The property was very nice and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay there again!

It's OK, just know it is a timeshare
Posted Jan. 7, 2024 on HomeAway1) Communication with propert owners prior to arrival were detailed and perfect.
2) Check in was an absolute nightmare because once they realized I wasn't the owner they started the pressure to get me to agree to a sales pitch the following day. 30 minutes later they finally gave me my keys yet continued to call the room phone, my cell phone ane leave notes under the door.
3) Check-in costs, know that you will be required to pay $9 per person per day. That was an additional 360 for us.
4) The rooms are average at best. Everything was clean but the rooms are very dated. Floor tiles were cracked, cookware was there but barely enough to be useable. I'd compare everything to an 80s Holiday Inn. We had a bottom double unit and out of 9 nights, we were kept awake 7 nights with running kids above us. It is loud and the walls are thin.
5) The beds, bedding, etc were very comfortable.
6) 9 days and not once did we get bedding changed, trash removed, fresh towels, etc.
7) Overall it wasn't terrible it was just very disappointing. We book with VRBO to stay in homes so we have more privacy and don't have to deal with hotels. I thought this would be ok but it's basically an array of smaller hotels. We wouldn't stay here or any other timeshare again. I don't want to make it sound bad, it just wasn't what we expected. That's mainly why I'm writing this review. If you have younger kids and don't mind the hotel enviorment or their hassles the first few days it's ok.

A Perfect Family Vacation
Posted Dec. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was the perfect place for our family trip to Colonial Williamsburg. The unit was huge (it was actually two units with a connecting door) with two kitchens, three bedrooms, and multiple TVs. The recreation center and pool was great for the kids.

Summer vacation
Posted Jul. 29, 2023 on HomeAwaySecond time staying at Wyndham Kingsgate. It is a great place has many amenities for all ages. Everyone is friendly, the condos are clean and very comfortable for family stays. We love staying here. Great times.

Family Vacation
Posted Jun. 25, 2023 on HomeAwayOur stay was amazing! We had 2 of everything, two full kitchens, two livingrooms, two washer and dryers and two sofa-beds!! We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo which worked out perfectly because the kids took over the other side and the adults took over the 2 bedroom side! The outside was perfect. Everything thats listed on the website is exactly what they had. There were 3 swimming pools, 1 inside and 2 outside, the one's outside was mostly for the family and the other pool was for 18 and up! And don't forget the jacuzzi and they also had a bar at the pool as well. The arcade games was free which was a plus and the gym was fully stocked! We missed the movies and yes it is a movie theater on the property. The firepit was lit the first night we arrived. We didn't get to play golf because it rain most of the time we were there. Golfing was on the property as well! Would we book another stay ABSOLUTELY 💯! That was our first stay at a condo and it was wonderful. We were surrounded by everything. Thank you for taking good care of my family!!😊😊😊

Nice location
Posted Jun. 15, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat location and amenities! Was room for 6 people. We had issues with a shower not draining, but they got it fixed on day 2. Also back deck was dirty, not really pleasant to sit on.

Spring break

Nice place. Room for improvement
Posted Aug. 21, 2022 on HomeAwayProperty was clean and nicely furnished. Outdoor areas very well kept and attractive. Kids had a great time at the pool and activity center. And the condo was very close to all the attractions.
However. After an 8 hour drive and sitting in traffic on I 95 I was in no mood for a 40 minute check in process and a sales pitch about how I should take a 90 min tour on my first day of vacation. Also my wife and I are pushing 70. We were in a third floor condo and there was no elevator ( that detail was omitted from the rental info on the VRBO site) hauling our luggage up three floors was no fun at all especially after the check in ordeal. Thankfully our grandson was there to help. Would have been a couple fewer stars on this review if I had done it all myself

Overall we were very pleased. There was an issue with the sliding door that we made the front desk .
