If Premier Inn did hot-tubs

Room: cheap fixtures and fittings, gauche light fittings, lowest quality bathroom door and lock on the market, very weak shower. NOT 5 star
Food: astoundingly bad. The on-site "pub" was not cheap and served 50% inedible food cooked from frozen - the chicken had freezer burns, packet mash, anaemic looking steak. I could expand, but Wetherspoons wouldn't serve this low quality, even at half the price. NOT 5 star.
The breakfast: was Premier Inn format and quality, free-for-all buffet style. No offer to cook eggs to order, no proper coffee brought to you, definitely no options of eggs benedict or the like. Again, 5 star charges but 3 star delivery.
Hot tub: great.
Spa: lovely but showers were cold. Cheap and thin robes and towels.
Staff: very good, seemed to genuinely care and took our feedback graciously. As a gesture they refunded the parking fees (inexplicably they charge you this if you don't book direct) as they couldn't do anything about the food charges.

Had a lovely stay. Staff are very kind and helpful. Had a lovely meal in the hotel pub. Loved that you can use the spa throughout your stay.
Definitely recommend!
