Up on checking in to The Sure Stay in Alexandria, we were given an unclean room. The comforter has many visible large spots. I took a picture and went back to the front desk. The desk clerk worked hard to locate a clean room. Once in the new room, there was a remote controller box and no remote. I went back to the front desk and a search for a remote ensued. She located on and we returned to the room. It worked. She asked me what restitution I wanted. My reply was a clean room and a discount for the inconvenience. We got a clean room. You can refund my charge because your knowledge of this place needs updating. Best Western will be notified.

Electrical outlets need to be checked in room 103. Only a few worked. Power cords would fall out. TV didn't come on. The rest of the stay was great.

At registration desk we were treated like part of the family. The employee was very good. It was a little noisy at night. We staid on the first floor my husband is handicap so we were on the first floor. But every thing was great.

You have friendly staff on the property she was very polite and nice the beds were so soft they slept so good the only thing when you walk in on the bottom floor all you can smell is like the smell of a skunk was in the building any time you came out of your room that's what you smelt and it was people just in and out all out in the parking lot all hours of the night that's a lot of drug activity

I was put in a room where construction was being done at 10pm. The entire floor was covered in sheet rock dust. No baseboards. An impact drill was being used in the room next to mine. It was impossible to sleep. I Had to leave at 10p.m. in a stange area and find a new hotel. I ended up at the La Quinta which was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff at the front desk of this Super 8 told me I was the third person to leave the hotel in the last hour. I asked for a refund but was denied because I booked with travelocity. Never again! Not to mention the weed the constuction workers were smoking in the hallway. I mean seriously, why would anyone ever want to stay in this environment?

We had to change rooms because they weren't clean. The carpet is gross and very dirty. The bathrooms still had cleaning spray on toilets. We had to go eat and use the restroom at the gas station next door. The guy up front was nice but it took a long time to get checked in.
