While I do a lot of traveling for business and pleasure, I normally do not write reviews because so many lack objectivity. I stayed at this property during the 2023 EAA Airventure. It drastically needs a major renovation. It begins with the potholes in the parking lot needing to be filled. The room was worn and beat up. Paint missing from the bathroom door. An old, yellow shower curtain that should have been thrown away years ago. Carpet was dated and worn. Kept my shoes on. The mattress would be good to be tossed and replaced. You could feel the individual springs. But, probably the most offensive thing was the cherry-smelling odor that I presume was being used to cover up the mold and musty smell. Never smelled that kind of disinfectant before. Breakfast was actually better than expected. The only bright spot! This is an old property that was taking advantage of the high demand for rooms because of EAA Airventure. I have stayed at hundreds of La Quinta properties in my business career. This was absolutely the worst. I cannot image how they are able to meet the franchise standards.

Room has a terrible cat urine smell and cat hair on the furniture. Not sure how a hotel could in good faith rent a room like this out to their customers at $350 a night! No other rooms available so just had to deal with it, received no comp or refund for the issues.
