The staff was very friendly and helpful but that’s where the good things about this stay ends. Their carpet needs a good deep cleaning, the water pressure poor and leaked, the breakfast was just plain sad BUT the worst part was the AC in our room. We set it to the lowest it could go with the fan on high but it never cooled down our room. It was colder outside in the hallway!! VERY disappointing for a La Quinta. Spend a little more money people and stay somewhere else.

The carpet was ripped by the door and unraveling by the bathroom, exposing the nails in the tack strip. It was also filthy. I booked online, being quoted a price of $97 or $98. I ended up being charged $109 for Sunday thru Wednesday nights; $129 for Thursday night; and $209 for Friday night. Plus $131 for taxes. When I spoke to the receptionist, she was rude and unhelpful and defensive. Each night I was there, I was awakened several times by loud talking/shouting outside of my door. I am surprised that LaQuinta has their name on such a property. I will definitely not stay here again when visiting Austin.

The pictures look a lot nicer than the actual property. As soon as my 6 year old son and I got to our room I noted the toilet was stopped up. I called the front desk numerous times and was told that she was the only person there and there was no maintenance on weekend and would get us a plunger when the manager showed up. By 10ish pm it was very cold in our room and near freezing outside. I realized the heater was only blowing cold air. I called the front desk again and said I was still waiting for the toilet to get fixed and we need an extra blanket as the heater wasn't working. Again I was told she was alone there and the manger isn't due in until 11pm. I called again around 11pm and now the manager was due in at 11:20pm. I was keeping my son warm who had fallen asleep and I tried staying awake to hear from the manager. That call never came. When we left the next day, I told the person at the front desk what happened and she said she would let the manager know and call us. Just over a week later and have never heard from the manager. I paid $125 for the night. This is more like a $50 a night motel.

Staff very professional and efficient. Towels and room amenities very nice and fresh. As everywhere, breakfast sparse with packaged fruit cocktail, yogert, breads. Property needs sprucing up as far as paint indoors and out. Bedding fresh and comfortable. Very convenient for any Austin southside activities and reasonable access past the I-35 traffic going north by using the access road instead of the main lanes.

The rooms were so terrible filthy carpet filthy curtains very unsanitized. We stayed because we were so tired of looking for a decent LaQuinta.

We ordered a room for 5 and they put us in a small room for only 4 and refused to give us a cot. Very small uncomfortable and stuffy

Dirty bathroom floor. Don’t shut doors to mop. Not vacumed good, edges around room had trash. Beds ok linens good. Need to refurbish and redo rooms!!
