restaurant was great but if you are staying a week, you are seeing the same food night after night. more variety perhaps altering the menu every other night would be good for selection...

Too bad. Could be much better
Pros:Free Internet, nice beach and grounds, good workout room
Cons:Noisy, management unhelpful
This hotel has a beautiful beach and nice grounds but could be much better managed. They insist on blaring music all over the grounds at various times including some nights when the pounding of the bass
was so loud that it was impossible to carry on a conversation in our room even with all windows closed. Restaurant was expensive and mediocre. Staff "on the ground" were pleasant and helpful but not
management, who did nothing about the noise level when we complained. Finally "Lena" was haughty in denying our request for a two-hour check-out extension after we had been there almost two weeks. Too bad. Could easily be better.

We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

I loved everything - except they did not have elevators. The climb isn’t too bad until you make your way to the 4th floor! Would definitely return though.

The resort is beautiful beachfront property about twenty minutes from airport. The junior suite room 5426 was a good size and had an excellent view of ocean and the interior courtyard. I really enjoyed the shower (extra hot water and good pressure). The staff was helpful and friendly- Roxanne at Calabash, Sue & Jemini at the front desk, and the security guard, Edward.
I felt very nickel and dimed at this hotel. Nothing was included. Most 4 stars hotels at least have complimentary bottled water and a coffee pot in the room or coffee in the lobby for guests. I was also not impressed with the food (the spaghetti and the chocolate brownie became my staple meals). The watery drinks at the bar were overpriced.

Bougainvillea Barbados was the most amazingly Beautiful resort.The Beaches we’re clean and you never felt crowded. There were plenty of chairs and personnel space for you to sit back with a drink and relax.The Beachfront Restaurants were amazing especially Siam Restaurant. The staff was friendly and our rooms were cleaned spotless everyday.There was always plenty to do in Barbados. St Lawrence Gap was a 5 minute drive and there were Great Restaurants and Bars with live music.The fish fry on Fridays was awesome!!!! Live music great service and an abundance of different fish. We had the Lobster Tails and they were the largest we’ve ever seen!! So Delicious!!!! We will Definitely be returning to Bourgainvilla Barbados again. Can’t wait to go back!!!

My 2 daughters and I spent 5 nights here July 2019....it was our 1st trip to Barbados, and we loved it. The property is extremely clean and beautiful bougainvillea flowers are plentiful on the property which makes it so picturesque. 3 swimming pools to choose from which was a plus, and though the property was sold out the pools were never crowded. We took a short cab ride from the hotel to Brownes Beach which was our favorite of all the beaches we visited, very calm and great for swimming. Many thanks to the Front Desk namely Sue, Rachauna & Jemini for being so accommodating to all our needs during our stay..Special thanks to Shawna who checked us in and gave us a lovely upgrade to a 1 bedroom Suite which was lovely .... very spacious room with a large balcony, and beds are very comfortable. We had 2 of the best taxi drivers during our stay .... We did an Island Tour with Trevor which was wonderful, he’s extremely knowledgeable of the island and we were kept engaged for a good 3 1/2 hours, he’s just great! We did our trips with Junior who is also a wonderful guy....both drivers left me and my girls with lasting memories of Barbados. We had dinner at Castaways and Champers Restaurant, both were excellent..... we would certainly recommend this hotel and surely return in the future.

Amazing hotel! The staff is so friendly and honest. They have huge pools with beautiful set up of tables, chairs and couches to lounge on. The bartenders are so nice also. Nicholas and Kevan are wonderful. They really try to make you feel at home. The restaurants at the hotel have delicious food. I recommend Siam for a nice romantic thai dinner. The beach was clean and with enough umbrellas and lounge chairs. They have so much to offer for the beach and pool. Kayaking, floats, snorkeling gear and more! Loved the showers in the room! Everything was clean. They have everything you can possibly think of.

Excellent facility. The beach is however not for swimming but still a beautiful sight. South coast is rougher water. The pool is wonderful and the pool bar is inviting and laid back. The entire hotel is relaxed and great for a vacation getaway.
