Don't do it.

Pros: price
Cons: cleanliness and night auditor needed
Location: Location is great, room does not
Mattress was hard, bed linens awful. One of the face towels had mold on it. Looks like the ceiling had a water leak. Bath tub wasn't clean, hair on the shower head. something on side of the tub. Someone was smoking during the night, I can't blame that on the hotel. However I was not impressed. In this area of the city I would think the room was much better. Ughghgh

Day vs night

Day staff were terrific, and went out of their way to allow me an early check-in. Friendly, professional, courteous, respectful. The person working the desk at night, though, appeared to have friends visiting and hanging out in the lobby (could have been long-stay guests) who were speaking vulgarly (finding prostitutes on Craig's list), and heard in my room halfway down the hall from front desk. This clerk was standing with them during this conversation. Also, my request for room cleaning (at option 1 cost) was lost and was not honored. Room itself not great, but not bad for the price.

I felt very welcome at this hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The only problem I had with the trip was the fact that the understanding that I had when I made the reservation with you and what I received was very different. My understanding when I made the reservation may have been my mistake, but I was under the impression that there would be a sleep sofa in this room. To my surprise, that was not the fact of the matter. Like I said, this is the understanding I felt when I read the information online. This isn't the first time this has taken place when I've made a reservation online. The information given online by a travel agency is sometimmes incorrect of misleading to say the least. This is why I keep telling myself not to look for accomidations through an online service. No reflection on your service, just online services in general.

Great hotel, good service

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was great! Very quiet and clean. Only problem they did not want to honor our request for a nonsmoking room. When we booked with this website, we specifically chose nonsmoking as well as made a note that we must have nonsmoking. When we arrived, they told us they did not have any available to give us. This was because they honor the requests of guests that book through them first. I was not happy about this, but after I explained why we needed nonsmoking they magically found one to put us in. Overall, they were very accommodating and apologized for the trouble. I was pleased with the staff and LOVED the hotel.

This hotel was enjoyable to stay in.

This hotel was accessable to the interstate. I also was in an area where places to eat were easily available. Traffic wasn't an issue an it was difficult to locate.

You can do better

Needed a place for one night. The location is very good for all local activities especially events in and around LSU. The hotel itself was in need of repairs. The veneer was peeling from the table. The TV was tiny, There was no shampoo or hair dryer in the room (but was available at the desk). There is no breakfast or ice machine. Wireless internet is available for $* for the entire stay, but the front desk did not give us the code needed to log on. The bed was comfortable and the noise level was low. Oh Yeah, be extra careful in the hallway. There are numerous soft spots and it feels like you might fall through.
