The cheery conservatory displays views over the terraced garden and down into the valley where you may see curious sheep looking over the fence.
The next town over is Ashbourne, a market town with small country shops and lots of intriguing eateries. To the west is Belper with its fantastic high street full of bijoux stores, ideal for pottering about and buying a trinket or two to commemorate your stay.
