Front desk was not available when we showed up to check in. There was a note displayed saying they would be back but we waited for a while and eventually left to grab a snack. It was late so I really just wanted to check in and get to bed so that was a little discouraging. When we came back the woman at the front desk was very nice and pleasant! I am sure there is a staff shortage as like everywhere so it wasn’t a huge deal for us, just a little inconvenient.

I was not made aware about a 50$ hold kn my cresit card for "incidentals". So i did not bring a card as my room was already paid for. They would not accept cash initially, for this. Later, they did and when i checked out tjey said it was non refiundable. They should be more specific about this, as i was under prepared and lost out on money.

Only one small towel bar in bathroom. No hooks in bathroom to hang robe, pjs. I was given an “accessible” room even though I had requested a standard. Showering was more difficult in trying to keep water from going everywhere.

Shower is scary

Nice place like a small apt. But the shower was totally screwed. Too fast couldn’t adjust the direction right. It sprayed water everywhere.

Fairly basic

Pros: It was okay, the bed was comfortable.
I remembered this brand having nicer rooms at other locations. This one was okay, but is was pretty basic. The bathroom was lacking a trashcan, and the only shampoo or conditioner provided was 2 in 1. There was only one bar of soap, which looked like hand soap rather than bath soap. The service could have been better. Both at check in and check out no one was behind the desk and we had to wait. Only one of those times was there an apology or a reason for not being behind the desk. I think they are understaffed.

Don't stay here...

Pros: The location was near our destination.
Cons: It needs a serious cleaning and fumigation.
We reserved a king sized bed on Travelocity, but were then told by the front desk that was a typo and the largest bed they had was a queen sized bed. What was really terrible about the hotel was the stench. They tried to cover it up on the first floor with potpourri, but that only made it worse. There was a different stench in the elevator, and still a third one on our floor. I can't begin to identify the smells, because I've never smelled anything like them in my life (and hope to never smell them again). I'm not very sensitive to smells, and found them to be overpowering. The smell on the floor didn't extend into the room, and since we were tight on time we just stayed there instead of trying to find another place. There are other nearby hotels that have GOT to be better.
