I reserve a king bed and they change me for a two full beds, the counter staff had an attitude and gave me a hart time checking in

Booked a non-smoking room. Upon entering the hotel there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and our room reeked of smoke. Hotel had a dank and smoky smell everywhere. There were stains on our sheets. There was hair on our sheets. The room was in very poor condition overall, carpets are worn and need to be replaced. Just very unclean in general. The bathroom was serviceable and the cleanest thing about the place, although the towels had minor stains as well. Room windows were filthy, you could not see out of them. Cracked windows around building entry door. Would NOT recommend staying here.

I am very sorry that you smelled smoke - of any kind - at our property. We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

We didn't like that our room that was given to us was unclean and not ready. When I told the front desk about it, he look at me like I was being weird, which I was not. He then give me a room with two beds, which I did not reserve. Also, there was old food in the fridge. We reluctantly accepted the room because it was a long trip and we wanted to rest. While I was grabbing my laggage out the car, the front desk employee ask me if I threw trash in the first room that was not clean and not ready. Of course, I said "no" and went about my business. The only person who was slightly friendly was the lady who gave me the new room key. Other than that, not a friendly hotel.

The entire hotel smelled like a cigarette even in the non smoking area. We stayed in a non smoking room and the first night the sheets had stains all over them. They were on the bed upside down so it appears they do not clean the sheets, possibly just flip them inside out between guests. We stripped our beds and requested new sheets the second day and when we came back those sheets had cigarette burn holes all over the "comforters" (well thin sheet that is considered a comforter) in addition to stains as well. When pulling the comforter back there were also dead ants on the sheet. That is when we decided to make a 2.5 hour drive back home late at night instead of spending the second night there we already had paid for. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else.

Hotel clean, some smoking smell

Pros: Shower, new shower head, plenty of hot water
Cons: continental breakfast very weak
Location: Needed to be near the fairgrounds so this was one of few options, normal restaurants near by
Hotel rooms clean, some hallways to non-smoking rooms reek of cigarette smoke smell but room was ok. Best part was the shower and plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast not astounding but passible. Area around hotel is under construction and pretty rough but that will clear up by summer I am thinking. Room rates were a value for todays market - when I first checked they were pretty high then when I booked two weeks later some kind of promotion and rooms were reasonable. I booked only one week ahead so maybe wait to book? They were pretty full the 2 nights I was there. Free wifi with no password.

Clean Hotel with Quiet Rooms

The hotel is behind another hotel and they have no pool so if you want to go swimming you have to actually leave the building and go to a totally another hotel. Wasn't crazy about that. But in all other ways our hotel was clean, freshly painted, good continental breakfast area, friendly staff.

We missed a microwave oven!!!!!!!!

Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: Microwaves in each hotel room. Room charges were too expensive for Fridays and Saturdays.

The local was excellent right off the Ne York State Thruway. Centrally located. Prompt cleanliness of our room. Forgot to leave our maid a tip. Will send a check. Always, Ms Alice Burczynski
