The updated furnishings and wall color was nice but we found the deck icy when arriving without outside lighting to find the back door. The property around the house is overgrown and unkempt. The coffee pot had evidence of mouse droppings, we could hear mice in the walls and a fly fell out of the refridgerator water dispensor. There were no instructions upon arrival including the wifi password.

Great place on the islands in vermont
I cannot say enough good things about this property. The outdoor space is great there a scenic views and a calm. Inside the house was clean and accommodating for our family. It was close to the places on the island that we were visiting. We had a lovely time and we hope to rent this property again.

Charming farmhouse with lots of outdoor space
Our stay was fantastic. The farmhouse's blend of vintage charm and modern convenience was evident. The reliable WiFi, well-equipped kitchen, convenient washer and dryer, room air conditioners, and exceptionally comfortable primary bedroom improved our stay. Some of my kids even chose to sleep on the comfortable couches. While plenty of beds were upstairs, the versatile sleeping options were a plus. The expansive grounds included a barn with a pool table and grill. Now my kids want a pool table at home. There was even an orchard and a fishing pond with a dock! It is a historic farmhouse in Vermont so expect things like the stairs being a little steep and a few mosquitoes, part of the experience. The thoughtful design and attention to detail made this a perfect pick for our family.

A Great Place to Stay - Host Provided a Great Experience
A great place to stay. The host really paid attention to details - cleanliness, very nicely appointed house, kitchen was ready to go with great supplies, very comfortable common areas to visit with friends, nice bedrooms, great bathrooms. We had a great time with our friends and this location is just where we wanted to be - easy access to the bike ferry, great bike riding, the vineyard and the beautiful West Shore Rd. and the beautiful Islands of Lake Champlain. Thank you so much!!
