Good location

Location: Well located and close to Hyannis. Lots of shopping in the area and convenient to P-town.
We recently stayed here. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The room was sufficient and clean. However, a few things could be improved. When we got there to check in, a couple of women were standing behind the desk chatting. They saw us there but didn't ask if we needed help. Finally, we walked closer to the window and were acknowledged. The staff person was polite but not particularly friendly. The next morning we went down to the café to have breakfast and were informed that the café was closed for the next couple of days and didn't open until the last morning of our visit. It would have been nice if a sign was posted or we were told this upon checking in. Also, ice machines on the same floor would be nice as they are only located on the first floor. On the plus side, the hotel was very quiet, even though it was pretty full, and the outside pool was clean and the chairs were very comfortable. We did not use the inside pool. We would consider staying there again, but would probably ask for a first floor room.

Has not been properly maintained

I have been coming here since I was little. It is too bad it is not being properly maintained anymore. The wallpaper in pool area was literally falling off th walks and was covered in black stuff that looked like mold!! (See pictures). The lady at front desk was not happy to see me when I checked in ( and it was not busy) like I was an inconvenience.

Hotel is not being properly maintained

Have been coming to this hotel since I was little. It is too bad it is not being properly maintained. Pool area is full of what appears to be mold, wallpaper was hanging off the walls in spots above windows. Rooms haven't been re-done and are run down. It's too bad because it used to be nice.

Nice Hotel, close to everything

I would recommend staying at Cape Point Hotel. Hotel is located between most attractions, easy to get to north and south areas. Hole room had a small refrigerator with a smaller freezer. It held 11 bottles of water, 4 yogurts with a little room left over. Room had a ironing board with an iron, located in wardrobe and a hair dryer. Hotel had an indoor pool, kids pool and hot tub. Game room, bar, diner for breakfast and coffee cart by the front desk. Koi pond in lobby area, sitting area with tv and an exercise room.

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything.. Start with cleaning hotel, pools, hot tub daily and train the front desk in hospitality
The hotel staff was not trained in hospitality. They were rude , lied, and don't care about how you are treated. The rooms are out of date. They misrepresent themselves of the discription of what is offered and when it is offered. The hot tub is the dirtiest I've even seen. It has a foul odor and brown foamy stuff floating in it. Not once while at outdoor pool, which was dirty did I ever see them test the pool. This is definitely an establishment we could not wait to go out of. We felt dirty there. Stay away!!!!

Nice hotel for price

Pros: The price was worth the stay.
Cons: Absolutely no smoking in non-smoking sections of the hotel. Friendlier front desk staff, and fix sliding doors.
Location: Plenty of things to do nearby when in season so check that before booking, lots of restaurants and beaches minutes away. The location is really good.
what I expected for the price I paid, but we made the most of it and had a nice time. We enjoyed the pool and small cafe. Housekeeping services was good, but our non-smoking room smelled like someone just finished having a cigarette the moment we walked in. The front desk staff was okay, not as pleasant as you would expect in the hospitality industry. Cafe food was okay. Don't expect a grand hotel stay. Still the hotel was okay for a short stay with a small budget.

Fall sightseeing

Pros: Location and convenience.
Cons: Carpeting in rooms and curtains.
Location: Central location near ferries and Hyannis harbor. Near many stores and restaurants.
Stayed 10/10 to 10/13/2015. Overall great place to stay. Did not use the amenities but saw a lot of families using the indoor pool which is very nice. Hot tub looks great.. Rooms where very nice, nothing luxurious but adequate for sleeping and showering. Great central location for day trips and local sightseeing. Good breakfast food(not included)and prices. Very nice staff. Would stay again.

Aging facility

The room was clean and the breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and quite reasonable. Unfortunately, they put all their money in the pool and I don't think the rooms have been updated in decades. Everything was very old and very worn. Depressing, actually. At one point I looked out into the hallway and saw four different carpets. I would NEVER return. We actually checked out a day early The facility was a big disappointment.

Hotel near water park & miniature golf.

Pros: The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Noila, the Manager and Val went out of their way to get us other rooms and a partial refund for one night.
Cons: Rugs replaced and door locks, furniture replaced where needed. Landscaping improved for a better outside appearance.
Location: There is a large inflatable water park on that road. Two amazing miniature golf courses with waterfalls etc. Many restaurants and large antique shop
Hotel needs to be refurbished, rugs are stained, furniture scratched and landscaping needs improvement. The room though doesn't have any odor. It has a very fresh scent. The biggest problem are the door locks. First room we had on first floor the screen was open and glass door wouldn't lock. The second room we moved to was better in appearance, but the door leading into the room could be opened from the hallway without the card. We reported this to maintenance, put a sign on our door for the room to be serviced. We left for the day. The card didn't work when we tried to get in the hotel through one of the outside entrances. We arrived at the room, the sign on our door had flipped to busy, towels were hanging on the doorknob and the room wasn't cleaned. We received another room that night at 10 pm. That room was the best of the three.
