Walk to Giant Steps!
Great location, walk right across the street to Giant Steps! Would have been 5 stars except for the noisy neighbors above at night was not the best. Even with that we would definitely stay at this condo again.

Nicely decorated, reasonably clean, fully furnished with plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen implements, spices, and toiletries. The furnishings are comfortable and location is excellent. A couple of concerns. As pointed out by a previous reviewer, the directions to the place are to a completely different building. The unit is NOT in the building labelled “Chalet Village” it is a different building labelled “Villa Cholla.” The building markings aren’t extremely clear, so incorrect directions are a big deal. I had to reach out to the owner for information on how to access the unit and the thermostat code and the wifi. The response was prompt, but this is information that should be provided without having to ask. There are several lights that are out, outlets that don’t work, and several burners that don’t work. The heater vents are arranged so that if the main rooms are comfortable, the master bedroom is sweltering. Important safety concern—there is a large deep grate right in front of the side door to the unit. When we arrived, this grate had been covered by a mat and snow, and we didn’t realize it was there. Overnight, we received several inches of snow blocking the only available exit door, and we were trapped until we were able to remove enough snow for us to get out. When we eventually uncovered and found the grate, it was fine, but instructions should be given to tenants to NEVER cover the grate.

Misleading and not clean we almost left!
Let me clear up some details that are misleading and seemed to be in most of the reviews I read. The property would be easy to find with proper instructions. The property is second building on the left once you turn right off of 143 (Easy). It mentions the building color that is behind this unit because those units are newer and nicer. I contacted the host in advance wanting instructions for when we arrive and he neglected to give me any, just that it was a wood burning fireplace. So when we arrived we ended up contacting VRBO direct to attempt to find the unit and then get in. We were finally contacted by property management who were decent and eventually got us to the property and in, but neglected to give us a code for the Thermostat so had to contact them back and hunt down the person we needed to get the info from to turn the heat on. After getting in it was one thing after another that didn't work or was dirty or in need of repair. The good thing was the view does look directly at Giant Steps so that was nice. The double shower was nice although not near the bedrooms. I can't figure out how to upload pictures or video or you could see I am not just a normal fussy reviewer. Won't go back. Notes: Photos misrepresent the unit, ex. furniture Directions to unit are incorrect and misleading: indicate brown & green building when it in fact is grey & red does not say “chalet village” it says “Villa Chollta” No arrival or entry instructions Unresponsive owners - had to contact VRBO direct No thermostat code instructions No WiFi - see screenshots “Skivillage” in email is incorrect. Entryway clutter - disgusting unsanitary mop No shoveling front or side entrance Dirty throughout Dirty brooms, mops right next to refrigerator disorganized dirty drawers throughout kitchen, Living room, bathrooms Oven and toaster dirty Stovetop not clean Shower not clean Only 2 front stove burners work Fireplace not cleaned, leftover burnt wood & ashes from previous use Disgusting scary closet off of kitchen area Recliners do not recline and are not what was in the photo. Front door cracked open letting in cold air Walls are dirty, unkempt paint job and furniture chipped or broken Several lights throughout unit do not work or no lightbulbs at all 1st Bedroom lights do not work, outlets do not work 40% of the outlets do not work One bed caves in the middle the other bedroom is too hot. DVD players “available” is in bedroom, not in living room

Best location
The place is right across the street from the lifts which was awesome! Bedrooms and living area were nicely separated. The property owners responded promptly to any questions we had. Heads up, there is a lack of grocery stores, so plan on bringing the majority of your food with. Beautiful town!

Great rental, especially for price.
Overall we really enjoyed the rental. It has obviously been updated and appears to continue to be updated. The bathrooms were awesome! Master bedroom was also very nice. The kitchen is also updated nicely! Only draw backs were one of guest bedroom mattresses may need replacing and several of the electrical sockets in the same room were not working. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. We especially appreciated the great communication with the owner!

Beautiful
The house was beautiful and so clean, just like the pics online! Eric and Melissa were great with any questions we had. We didn’t need them but there were spices and oil and other kitchen items in case you forgot yours. Plenty of dishes as well. Plenty of room and extra blankets if you need as well. We would stay here again, Loved it!!

Nice little town area
Overall we had a good experience with this house. The outside looks a little disappointing especially since there wasn't any pictures of it on the listing but inside was pretty nice. Finding the actual house was difficult with the instructions from the website but thankfully the owners quickly called me when we couldn't find it. We were there in the summer so not sure about the skiing but we had a blast renting the UTV's and going on there 2 hour course.

Great location, terrible comfort
This property is very centralized, close to the hills and restaurants. Bryan Head is not very big so you can get anywhere within 5 minutes. The owner is very responsive and pleasant. Checking in was a bit hectic, as both locks didn’t work. There were a key in the lockbox but it’s not for the unit I booked. We finally found another door at the far end with a code. The building was repainted (not reflected in the posted picture) so we thought we were at the wrong location. The decor inside doesn’t look like the pictures posted so Again we thought we were at the wrong location. The property itself isn’t comfortable. Because it’s a lower unit, the people living upstairs (residence) jumped and ran around all day/night making it very hard for some R&R. There are cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, flies everywhere, hair and clothes from the previous renters in the drawers. Also, if you want to turn the heat/AC to a certain temp Then you’ll need a code, and you’ll need to msg the owner for that. We wanted to leave a day after because of all the noise and grime, but wanted to make the most of it since we drove 7 hours to get there. All in all I would not stay here again. I’d say the best thing about the property is the pleasant owner and location.
