Staff was very good. My room had a stain on the carpet, and a burned out light bulb on the table lamp. I didn't get a good night's sleep over my three night stay. The doors bang when they close, so I heard them later at night and early in the morning. My a/c would make strange noises after the compressor would shut off, the noise was loud enough to wake me up during the night.

Upon entering our room it was extreme cold in there. Went to turn down the air conditioner and notice the carpet was wet in front of the unit. Called the front desk and maintenance was there in less than 5 minutes. He immediately took the from panel off the unit, felt the floor and told us he was sorry and would be right back. Within 10 minutes he returned with keys to another and larger room and apologized once again for the inconvenience. The entire facility was managed that well and our experience was great our entire three days we stayed with them. We recommend this facility ever time to anyone staying in Cedar Rapids. Bravo to all the staff !!!

Pros: The convenience of it! It is close to my daughter's and all of the stores we like to shop in.
Cons: I could not get the TV to turn off at night. I called the front desk; that gal told me to un;lug it, and she'd reimport it to maintenance in the Am.
Location: I really like the location , as it's close to a lot of shopping and great restaurants!
I had a very comfortable night at the Comfort Inn. I stayed in a room with a King-size bed because that was the best price. Everything was very clean. I slept very well!!

close to where I was working that weekend

Pros: Location, staff, and comfortable room.
Friendly staff greeted me when I walked in. Went out of their way to help with local food choices and directions. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was near the highway and easy on and off, but no traffic noise. Elevator was very slow. I started taking the stairs.

Great breakfast variety!

The rooms were clean, the staff very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of offering and very tasty.
