We had a dormer room with sloped ceiling over the bed. The floor and the bed mattress creaked/groaned; there was too much "stuff" in the room, with too little light. Opening the dormer windows (thankfully with screens) helped and provided a nice view of the river, as well as fresh air (no AC). There was loud music from an entertainment venue nearby on one night. The hosts were very nice and the breakfasts were very good.

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge La Chatelaine! The room and house were beautiful, owners extremely friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

A charming Auberge, clean rooms, delicious home cooked breakfast and delightful, helpful owners. Highly recommend spending a couple of nights here. There is much to explore in the area.
