The hotel looked fine from the outside when we arrived. We checkec in without issue. The front desk staff were nice.

The waffle makers are broken down (which is all the breakfast consists of) and the lady at the front desk was awful. Someone attempted to get in our room in the middle of the night. Room keys was deactivated by 8 am when check out isnt until 11 am.

Front desk staff was not accomodating, toilet seat loose, bed linens not fresh (was it changed?). Only stay for the night on our way to South Dakota, so tired so no energy to argue with her or call Travelocity!

It waslose to relatives, restaurants, stores, and close to the freeway. The price was quite reasonable. Although close to the freeway, there was no road noise, and signs were quite clear.

Outdated

The hotel was old and had ancient furniture kinda felt like a horror movie. But for just a place to crash on the way to Chicago great location.

This hotel has seen better days.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, indoor pool for kids
I stayed at this hotel a few times about 4-5 years ago and it was nice place to stay. It's still a good value for the money if all you need is a place to stay over night, but now it's run down and tired. The mattresses look new, but the rest of the furniture is worn out and the bedding, towels, and carpets really need to be replaced. If all you want is a cheap room for the night, a pool for the kids, and a so-so breakfast in the morning, this hotel might be what you're looking for.
