Como Lake wonderful view

Large and bright apartment with stunning views over the entire first basin of Lake Como. Four-room apartment located on the second floor of a beautiful building built by the architect Caccia Dominioni.
The apartment is located in a strategic position, as it is a few minutes from the city center, near a supermarket and all general services, a bus stop a few steps away and adjacent to the motorway entrances for Italy and Switzerland.
The space of over 110 square meters consists of a large living room with island kitchen, two double bedrooms, a single bedroom / study. Two bathrooms complete the apartment, equipped respectively with a comfortable bathtub and emotional shower in white mosaic. A small laundry room with washer and dryer is also available to guests.

Great view, not an exceptional location or property

The view is breathtaking and the apartment was clean. However, the lockbox code was wrong in one of the communications. The shower didn’t drain. We were also charged for a broken door knob. Overall the place was nice but definitely not exceptional. The location was also a bit far from everything

Beautiful view and modern, attractive and comfortable apartment.

We enjoyed staying at Sara’s apartment and the view was wonderful. We practised walking to and from town finding the most comfortable side of the street to walk on with two way traffic going by. The accommodations were very comfortable and we followed the manual instructions for using modern stove and oven. Would definitely stay here again!

The House on the Hill

Sarah and Anna were very easy to communicate with and helpful even before we arrived in Como! They gave us information about transportation from the train station as well as for while we were there. Also, when we had to check out, they provided a company that could hold our luggage that day before our departing train. The home itself was incredibly clean and comfortable. There is a spacious kitchen, two large bathrooms, and the bedrooms were all wonderful. There is also a balcony with an incredible view of the lake. The pictures in the listing hardly do it justice! One thing to note is that this home sits on a narrow road on a hill. We were able to walk along the road to get into town, but that option may not be accessible for everyone. There were times when the taxis we called had a difficult time finding us. We took the bus a few times; there's a stop very close to the home which made it very easy. For the most part getting to and from the home was doable, but it is worth noting. Overall, our visit was very enjoyable and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

AMAZING apartment in Como!

We absolutely loved this apartment! The communication with Sara, the property manager, was amazing. She made check-in and check-out super seamless. The VIEW from the terrace is even better than in photos - it's incredible. We could've sat there all day enjoying the lake views. The apartment itself is even more spacious and lovely in person as well. One note is the apartment is about a 10-15 min walk from the majority of restaurants/shops. I think it'd likely be best to have a car to easily get to and from places, but we made do just fine walking and getting cabs. We thought the value for the money was great - would happily stay here again. Thank you Sara!

Amazing view in a quiet neighborhood

We truly enjoyed our stay! The view was absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better one. Kitchen had all of the amenities you would need. We were able to do a load of laundry which was very helpful for our long stay in Italy. I would highly suggest figuring out the bus system in Lake Como, we walked the first day and the road to the house is quite dangerous with the cars zipping by. Sara was super responsive, even helping us with things outside of the house. Far warning to those coming to the area in late April, we messaged on the heat as the house was quite cold. There is a law, I believe after April 15, on usage of heat. The second night, it was 41 out and it was quite cold inside the house. We did pull a blanket from the other room. There was a heated pad on the back bedroom bed but only one side worked. To note, we hadn’t said anything as we just swapped sides each night. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you Sara for being such a great host!

Fantastic view!

We loved the space, and the fantastic view of Lake Como, along with the great balcony! The windows are large, and provide one of the best views we’ve seen in our travels in Italy. If you don’t have a car, the walk up the hill is a little challenging with the sidewalks, but a quick taxi is an option. Overall, we loved our stay!

Beautiful apartment with a mesmerising view.

The apartment is beautiful, but the view from the lounge area is one of the best we've seen. The owner is very responsive and extremely helpful. Our only concern was the location as the apartment is on a very busy street, so you need a car to get anywhere. It's located very close to Centro but there is no footpath to walk along the street, making it very dangerous when walking with kids. Thank you for your hospitality Sara.

Como Apartment

We stayed in the apartment in August 2022. The apartment is very nice, large and looks like it has been recently been remodeled with quality in mind. It has a great view of Lake Como with a nice balcony. The only downside for us was that we didn't research the location adequately. We are 75+ and didn't have a car so the location required us to rely on the bus service #17 and on occasions we used a taxi to return. The walk into town is downhill, the walk back is uphill! A great place for a family or small group. It is sufficiently equipped, only needs a couple of more fans. We had three fans two worked one didn't. Enjoy

Hard to leave the apartment.

Hard to leave the apartment. Spectacular view on patio of Lake Como and Como. Very clean and comfortable unit with nice kitchen. Only problem is parking which can be a challenge in the parking facilities at the apartment

Schöne große Wohnung mit Blick auf den Comer-See

Die Wohnung ist neu renoviert, sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Comer-See und den Hafen von Como sowie die umliegenden Berge. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Leider können keine deutsche TV-Sender empfangen werden. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 20 Minuten in Como, allerdings muss man für ein kurzes Stück am Straßenrand laufen. Der PKW-Parkplatz, der zur Wohnung gehört, ist relativ klein bemessen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
