Enjoy the fully furnished kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and all utensils. Also provided is laundry room with washer and dryer. The family room has large flat screen tv with satelite along with sofa sleeper. The master bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed with large closet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds with dresser/closet.

Can’t beat it.
I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s perfect for anglers and small families alike. Close to everything, cute updated house. Will always stay here when I come to town for a tournament.

Family Weekend Getaway
The rental was as listed. It was clean, very convenient to Pickwick Landing, and about 2 minutes to the ramp at Yellow Creek. The owner was very accommodating. Everything we needed had been provided for us. It truly is a Fisherman's Dream.

Great Getaway
My family of 4 enjoyed this cozy house for a weekend at the lake. The pictures and descriptions were accurate and we had all the amenities we needed. The owner responded quickly to the few questions that I had. Would stay here again.

Great Location Close to Boat Ramps for Pickwick
We stayed two nights for a short fishing trip. House is close to Yellow Creek Marina and State Park. Check in is super easy and owners were great at helping and accommodating us during the stay. Only thing I would add is kitchen cookware and dishes are a little sparse, but I am pretty sure after speaking with the owner that some things have gone missing over time.

The house was exactly as listed and minutes from the boat dock. We brought our bass boat and there was plenty of room to park the truck and trailer in the driveway.

Fishing trip
We spent three nights- We reserved the house with one day notice, after the state park cancelled our reservation due to the pandemic. In the local area this was about the least expensive place. I was pleasantly surprised with the house. We hoped to get a boat slip but Grand Harbor’s cost per night for a simple bass boat slip was too expensive, so we pulled the boat each each day. For a cost of five dollars you can put in a boat at Goat Island Campground / RV Park. It is about 2-3 mile drive altogether from the house, or so. It is a nice boat ramp. The road in front of the house is busy, a lot of big trucks, so we had to turn around the boat in the driveway. We hit the grass some but were able to turn around our Bass Boat, so we could pull straight out. The houses are spread apart, so it is very private. We didn’t see anyone else in the neighboring houses. It is fully equipped, good hot water, good reception on the large, flatscreen satellite TV, window AC units throughout but we had to use the gas heater- worked great. I couldn’t find a grounded outlet outside to charge the boat batteries but I made things work coming out from the storage /laundry room under the carport. Hope this helps
