We had a great time at Windjammer Landing. Nangee our hotel ambassador did a great job at taking care of us during our stay. He was in constant contact to address any concerns or help us book anything we needed. The rest of the staff were all friendly and attentive to us during our stay. Be sure to try all the different dining options and take advantage of the great swimming area. Definitely aimed towards families. Overall the stay was great and the hotel is deserving of it's nearly 9/10 rating at the time of my review.

My room was extremely disappointing. It was supposed to be ocean view. There was no window, only a small glass door. The room was far from the ocean. Instead you had to walk up a very steep hill to get to it or take a shuttle. While you could see a small bit of the ocean, it was a very poor view. The room was tiny. It was basically a closed in area below another unit. It was very poor value for the money and deceptive advertising.

The whole resort had a character. Food was good but no much for variety. Only had Buffett for breakfast, closed Buffett for dinners except 1 night. That left 5 nights to choose between 3 restaurants. So we had to eat off resort one night. No food offerings between 11-1130 and 5-6. Nothing late at night. Check in process was quick but so quick we didn’t get any information on resort. We had later inquire about how to info about restaurants and activities. Our cable was not working when arrived had to complain 4x before it got fixed 4 days later. Most staff in restaurants were great but here were others who had no personality and you felt like you were putting them out asking for stuff. Felt that there was lack of communication overall, almost they they expected us to know everything. I’m thinking effects of COVID may be the cause of most issues which is not their fault. Would have loved drink services on the beach but there was none. We had to go up to the bars every time, not big deal but a luxury we enjoy when on resorts. We tip well for services.

I liked the friendly staff and the all inclusive meals were delicious. I liked that they had vegan and vegetarian options. I also liked that everywhere we went they made sure our hands were clean and we wore masks. The only critique I have is the time efficiency with the front desk. Other than that it was great.

The first line on their website says "All Inclusive" but you must book very carefully to get this "option"....we got to the resort to find out we had only booked "bed & breakfast" and were charged an additional $150/per day per person. You even have to buy tennis balls to play tennis on their courts - they'll loan you racquets but not balls...seriously? The staff seems bored and annoyed most of the time. Really not sure why they have such high ratings. The food is good, the views are good - the resort is over 40 yrs old and shows it's age. Very underwhelming.
