I was SHOCKED at the difference between the pictures on the site and the reality. This has evidently turned into a long term stay property. It probably should have been a tip off when someone came into the office while we were checking in and asked for a roll of toilet paper for Room X and was handed one. Also, when the check in clerk let us know that there was a security patrol that started at 10 p.m. and continued through the night. Excuse me? There's a need for a security patrol??
There were "No Smoking" signs everywhere but when the elevator opened, the person who got off was smoking. There were signs that said, "All trash must be brought down to the first floor to x location," yet there were construction site-sized trash cans piled over with garbage bags on every floor. What hotel/motel makes you take your own trash anywhere?
We never actually got into the room. My daughter and I both used our keys to try to open the door, and when the light turned green, it wouldn't open so we "body slammed" the door, but in neither case could we access the room. That's when we said, "NOPE" and found another hotel. Twice as expensive, but we were probably less likely to end up with scabies, lice, bed bugs, and gunshot wounds.
Red Roof should be ashamed of this property/franchise. I wouldn't stay there if you paid me.
I will say, the woman who checked us in was welcoming, polite, and helpful. It's not her fault the property has turned into what it is today.

Check in was slow. Had to sign many many forms. Room was barren, no light bulb in fixture by bed. No bathroom essentials. No soap. No drinking glasses. No utensils. Homeless hanging around probably. Rested a bit and left. Make it a homeless shelter or tear it down. What a waste of 70 dollars.

Garbage all over the property. Many people just loitering on the property. Felt very unsafe. Refused to stay there as my car would get broken into.

Place was a dump- a 3D world experience. I checked out 20 minutes after checking in. I don’t know how Travelocity would ever rent such a place

The place was dumpy and run down. Broken furniture in the room. No housekeeping for entire stay. No staff available prior to 7am. Could not even check out. AWFUL!!!

Place was a dump. Very sketchy all around. People smoking, yes pot, in the parking lot. I'd never stay there again.
Room door was very hard to open.
