The room was horrible for the price. Room smelled funny when you walked in and we were thinking was a moldy smell that lingered on our clothes even after we left. Tons of water stains on ceiling, pool/ hot tub needed a scrub, rooms overall needed extra attention on the cleaning!!! shampoo container was empty in the shower, pillows were half size. The only plus was the bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent.

It was a great place to stay! We were glad there was onsite parking and a shuttle bus to get downtown every day. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the ocean!

We stayed here for our first trip to Key West. I chose this hotel because of the good reviews and that it had onsite parking. It was clean, staff was helpful and it was a great place to stay. We really appreciated the shuttle bus to get downtown and back every day. We would stay here again.

We were extremely disappointed in our stay here. From dismissive staff, broken elevator & lack of housekeeping on a regular basis. I would not recommend this hotel.

Staff were extremely friendly. Joey and Jaun at the front desk were stellar. Sharm the bartender at the Gates hotel was the absolute best!! Hope to return next year 💕

Clean, updated property. Parking onsite. Attractions within driving distance. Pool was beautiful & also use of 3 sister properties surrounding. Staff extremely kind & helpful. Sheik appearance, no usb ports, our lamps were wonky but they worked! Room faced main route so some road noise, request pool view. Shuttle to downtown convenient, parking there can be expensive.
