So first off when looking at places to stay, Sonder came up along with every review barking about the train. I came for a lacrosse event and after staying for a few days this is what I came up with. Sonder is located in the middle of the action. So if you are looking for quieter settings, it may not be for you. However, its not "noisy" by nature. Just a lot of bars, restaurants, and yes....the train. Checking in? Not a problem. Submit whatever they ask for and you will be fine. Parking? You could park on the street. However, I'd advise doing paid parking. Its not part of Sonder but there is elevator access from your room to the parking garage. The room? We grabbed a studio and everything you need is there. Whatever you dont need, go down the road 2 min to Publix. Ok, the train. They give you ear plugs. The train doesnt run all the time. It is right next to Sonder. So is it loud when it passes, which takes 30 seconds? I guess so, but after that its quiet. It doesn't run as much as you think. Point being, small price to pay for a great place. Everyone will have their opinion so mine is this. Its a fun place to stay, clean, pool is amazing. If you need more opinions, let me know. Sonder, I'll be back next January!

My room was a sauna
Beautiful and clean accommodations. But the room was so hot we could not sleep and the AC unit was locked so we could not lower it. No cold air in the bedroom and we tried sleeping in the living room but the only cool room in the unit was the BATHROOM, which i was desperate enough to sleep on the floor of. I could not recommend this place to anyone because of this despite everything else being perfection

The young lady that assisted in my check-in was great but the rooms themselves smells like sausage and has a train running every hour throughout the night. I was curious as to why, instead of an alarm clock (or any clock, for that matter), they had a white noise machine and ear plugs on the nightstands. I couldn't even stay the remainder of my stay and requested checkout at 10am the following day.

The space and location are outstanding but there are certain things that can be improved upon. The parking is convenient but pricey. It is unsafe and inconvenient not to be able to call the front desk directly. The shower floor is slippery and there is no handicap bar to help. It needs a pebble finish and one of those curved curtain bars. sonder encourages to wash towels but there are no towel rods or hooks. No full height mirror in suite. The tv system is very difficult to maneuver. Without a basic cable package you can't get local stations so unless you have the paid app can't see sporting events or local channels and national shows on those channels. You can't download Directv app. The hall carpet on 6th floor is terribly stained. finally for 5 days one of two elevators was out of service so the waits were long, especially given that they are shared with a 30 story apartment building. Since the floors don't show where elevators are you can't judge the wait. Also for business travelers there is no desk or desk chair.

You will be absolutely let down and disappointed if you choose this hotel. There are so many better options nearby, do not make the mistake I made. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and this property was the biggest let down of them all.
