Upon arrival, after hauling our luggage up and then back down when we noticed we got the wrong room, we were told that our gulf front room request had been sold out. They had decided (before we arrived) to put us in an "upgraded" room with bunk beds and a pool view. The two of us don't consider this an upgrade. After what seemed like more of a hassle than it needed to be, they magically found us the room we were supposed to get. After a plane ride and driving for 7 hours that day, we found this less than ideal. Regarding the actual room, the walk to the room from the elevator is unbelievably long. The worst we've ever seen. We know it's because of the shape of the hotel, but there needs to be another access to an elevator. Our TV signal kept cutting out. We spoke to the front desk and noticed it happened in the lobby tv also so we know it was a signal problem. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable and the walls seem pretty thin. We were happy to see the hot tub and pool were working being that it was very cold during our stay and we wanted to take advantage of that. That was until we actually went down and felt the water....freezing!!! The desk told us the heaters were outside and couldn't warm up. They said we could use the hotel next door. That one had half the water and garbage in it. Although, ours was magically working on the day we left when more people arrived to the hotel We are not impressed with this hotel. We will never be back, please go elsewhere!

This place is great!!! Great food morning and night; friendly and helpful people; comfy room!!! I would have given it 5 stars, but they must update their beds…they are as hard as my head. But as I said, they were helpful and provided something to make it a bit better!! We enjoyed our stay!!!
