Breakfast in a brown bag
It was a very clean and comfortable stay, and the restaurant in the hotel had the best salmon dish I had ever tasted!! All my compliments to the chef!! The main poor point was the setup for the breakfast: given the amount of money we were charged for the room, we expected more than a brown bag with a few select choices for breakfast. For example, we had a choice between either a single small plastic cube of blueberry or raspberry jam. Given that “breakfast included” should encompass multiple choices, we thought this was very stingy and frugal on the hotel’s part. We stayed at the quality inn and suites mont joli a few days prior and they had offered a full breakfast with MULTIPLE choices that you could eat in their dining room, albeit it was served by their staff, which was perfect. A brown bag is very ungenerous however, and we will not be staying at the quality inn and suites due to this.
