We have two stand-alone A/C Machines (one on the main floor and the other in the master bedroom plus we have ceiling fans in every bedroom plus another floor fan provided during your stay.

Guest have access to the entire house EXCEPT for main floor bathroom closet, upstairs hallway closet, Master bedroom closet, Storage area in basement and garage.

We do not have cable TV

The house is on a small lake where you can fish with fishing permit. Allowed on the lake are pedal boats, kayaks, canoes (no motor boats allowed).
Provided during your stay; pedal boat and 2 adults, 2 kids kayaks and two stand up paddle board.

Why a cleaning fee if we ask that guests leave the place clean and tidy;
When guests leave we still have to clean a house of 2400 sq ft in 4 hours.
We need to wash all the sheets, thoroughly clean both bathrooms, clean the kitchen, fridge etc, vacuum, dust and mop all the floors. Plus we also need to maintain the outdoors such as lawn.

18 minutes to the closet grocery store in Perkins.
15 minutes to the closet corner store.
35 minutes to the Mont-Cascade water park.
25 minutes to the Caverne Laflèche (Arbraska)

Amazing lake retreat
Our family of 9, grandparents, 3 parents and 4 kids ages 4-10 had a blast at this property! There was plenty of room for all of us! Nadine was very responsive to messages, even able to accomodate a date change for us! She reached out well before check in to let us know about check in process and a little blip in Wi-Fi which was quickly rectified. The kids had fun jumping in the lake (clear water beautiful lily pads) in the paddle boat and trying kayaking. We had lots of nights around the fire pit. The kids toys and games entertained the all the kids the entire week, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook. With just the air conditioning units and fans, that was more than enough to keep the house at a cool comfortable temperature for everyone. We truly had an amazing week together as a family and hope to go back again! Thank you so much for everything Nadine!
