The property was absolutely beautiful, perfect for our 8 family members. It appeared to be very clean, although my toddlers feet, hands, and knees were black from crawling on the floors in our room. My only true complaint is this: we stayed one night, got back to the hotel later than we had planned to, but hoped we might be able to swim the next day before checkout. Checkout is at 11am and the pool wasn’t open until then, so I stopped by the check-in office to see if they would make an exception to us swimming if we made sure we got everything out of our rooms, as our kids were mostly excited about swimming on our vacation. The lady had poor hospitality and no understanding for the situation and was downright hateful about saying no. She said the pool was only for people staying in the hotel. Anyhow, it was a nice hotel, but we will more than likely not return.

Good Morning Sarah,Thank you for staying with us. We apologize that our pool does not open until 11:00 am. We viewed the cameras and we did not hear the desk clerk being hateful. We heard her explain that our pool does not open until 11:00 am, and once you check out, the pool is no longer available to check out guests. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review.

After finally being allowed to check in at first glance our room looked very nice, clean showers, clean fridge, the beds also looked nice. However that was short lived when on the first night as everyone was setteling down bed bugs began to appear. After finding multiple bed bugs in the room and trapping some in a ziplock bag. I took the bag to the front desk where the lady at the front desk acted un shocked at the sight of the bag with bugs that i held up to show her. She did promptly give a full refund for the stay. The room was 310 that we were staying in.

We had a great overnight stay..Even though it was being renovated, we had nice views and room was clean and spacious..My family and I will be staying here again in the future..

Don’t stay here!!! The room was filthy, less than helpful staff and unfriendly. When I asked to be moved to another room due to the crying dog next that kept be awake all night the response was let me call them. Then nothing! No follow up no offer to help or change the room nothing! The stay was so bad i left a day early. Still no offer up to make it right or help from the staff. Do yourself a favor stay at another hotel.

Thank you for staying your 2 nights with us at Timbers Lodge. When you asked to be moved to a different room, we were sold out and did not have a room to move you to. We did offer you a refund if you wanted to leave, however you did not want to leave. We are a pet friendly hotel, therefor dogs can bark. The other guest was contacted and asked to calm the dogs.

The only benefit to staying at Timbers Lodge is walking distance to The Island.
Only reason my mother and I stayed here was it accepted pets and my mother cannot be separated from her yorkie.
Very rundown facility and dirty. Half the lighting in room didn't work nor did the outlets. The sheer curtains were torn and I mean shredded torn. Room was very dreary and much needed renovation. Would never stay here again.
