While I knew this was a 2 star, I didn't think it would be dirty, loud, and borderline unsafe. My sheets were stained, there appears to be food stuck to the wall, and I'm not confident the bathroom was clean. It was the only hotel and it was late so we stayed. Would not recommend, would have preferred sleeping in my car.

The property was really run down, and my family felt unsafe. The check in counter had plexiglass, which I felt was a sign of concern.
It was late so we decided to check out the room.
The room was disgusting with blood stains on the bedside, hair on sheets and there was mold all over the bathroom and the towels were dirty.
We checked out immediately and were promised a refund the next morning. I chatted with Travelocity the same evening.
I did not receive a refund, even though I called 3 times and was promised a refund. Travelocity was very helpful and also called and they were told a refund had been initiated (a lie).
I contacted Travelocity again who called me back and then with me on the phone called the hotel. The Travelocity agent was very professional with and the hotel again promised that I was going to receive my refund. Minutes later, I received my refund (I am not sure if it came from Travelocity or the hotel).

I can honestly stay this is THE worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty. Motel was sold out for the night. Here’s a thought, take that money and buy some clean/new linens without burn holes through them and invest in an ozone machine to clean the absolutely rancid room air. Can’t believe it’s still has Motel 6 chain backing.

Previous reviewers said the property needed to be updated and it does look as though it had been somewhere in the near past. However, it was cheaply/shoddily done and was all worn out again. What do you expect from an inexpensive hotel though? Overall, everything was clean, we didn't have to pay a lot for a place to stay, and we had a roof over our heads for the night.

Negatives:
Lack of security. The side entrance door was supposed to be secure, meaning it can only be opened by using your hotel key card, but this turned out to be false. Anyone wanting to enter could have entered the hotel. Bring your own extension cord! The outlets were sparse (only 3 in the entire room) and those available were placed in weird places in the room (under the lampshades at the bedside and at the table). To charge my phone the cord was way up in the air and I could not use my phone while sitting in bed despite my very long charging cord. The bed and pillows were very stiff and hard. My daughter did not sleep well. She woke up with aching hips and shoulders. The bathroom was really cramped and the sink faucet did not work well.
Positives:
Very clean room with the basics you need for a nights stay. The fridge/freezer kept our food and drinks cold and froze our gelpacks for the next day. Nice desk to read your maps. The curtains worked great (the hotel's exterior lights were blinding) but we could not see any of the light in our room with the curtains closed. Good close parking.
