The couch was in poor, worn condition. There were enough stains that I didn’t want to sit on the couch. There was loose pieces of plaster on the floor and furnishings. Several places has splotches of white paint or dried plaster. The tub has seen better days and there was something not right with the shower water control.

The room locking device wouldn't open the door. Rain water entering the room. Humid/moist carpets resulting. The sheer curtains were very badly ripped. Cold eggs, no meats for breakfast. Broken exterior door not securing the facility from unwanted intruders.

Security concern

Room not ckeaned. Moved us. Rented our room to another who keyed in on us. Never corrected in system.

Good for the price!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel (room 217) while in town for a funeral. Overall, we were surprised by how comfortable the room was. We did have a few small issues though. First, the hallway smelled very strange, almost like an overpowering musty incense stick? Not sure, but thankfully the smell was confined to the hallway only and the room smelled clean. We did find crumpled up paper and plastic tag attachments (like what holds a tag onto an article of clothing) laying on the bed, which was strange. We also found loose peanuts under the bathroom sink, where the towels are kept (again, strange). The pillows are small, but comfortable. Some of the tv channels didn't work. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was very friendly, which is always a plus. We travel quite a bit, and I will admit to being a bit of a hard critic. The first thing I do is look over the room. The complaints, if they can even be called that, were minimal for this hotel, and we would stay here again.

Lovely place, but needs cleaning tips

Pros: Continental Breakfast was fabulous. Eggs, sausage, bagels, donuts, cereal, juices, biscuits & gravy...best we've seen at a motel.
Cons: Attention to details in the cleaning in the room
Location: The location is immediately off the highway and within a minute's drive to 2-3 fast food restaurants & gas stations
The Comfort Inn was a nice surprise as we entered. Beautiful room, nice bed, comfortable temperature in the room, very nice bathroom. The continental breakfast was probably the best we'd ever experienced at a motel. However, we saw several cobwebs at the top of the walls in our room, and the bottom of the bathroom mirror hadn't been cleaned lately...showing what looked like spit marks all along the bottom of the mirror...possibly from toothbrushing. We mentioned these things to the manager, and he just smiled and nodded, not writing down anything we said or our room number so it could be corrected.

Bad Stay

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: unhealthy water supply
Unfortunately, this was not a good stay. Water was brown, window leaked water into room and soaked carpet. It was somewhat inexpensive, but not a good stay.
