They could use table lamps in the rooms to soften the harsh florescent overhead lighting. Curb and lobby appeal would help. If machines are not working and only cranberry juice is available then remove the non working coffee and whatever machines. Probably too many residents as opposed to hotel guests. The swing bench to the right of the door was a hidden gem, though in season.

Passing through town and booked using Travelocity. I've learned to read reviews and I really liked that people said they were clean and watchful. We arrived pretty late, about 11:30 and check in was easy and fast. The man at the front desk was really nice. He asked if it was just us or if we planned to have company, which I appreciated bc that means they are being mindful of the activity on the premises. The hotel was very clean and cozy. They had plenty of towels, refrigerator and microwave. It was budget friendly and CLEAN! I think other motels could take some notes from the people who run this. I highly recommend this motel, it's nicer than the last 3 I've stayed at here in Houston and actually felt safe. It was quite and there was plenty of parking. We were in a truck and trailer and we were able to find a place near a fence on the side. I have no complaints about our stay here. Would definitely visit again.
