Upon first sight the room was clean but the first night there was intense screaming by other guests across the hallway all night long. It was very disturbing and so we told the front desk about it hoping that they would take care of it. The second night was horrible as well with the screaming of the occupants across the hall from us. I called the front desk at 3:30 am and asked for them to come take care of it and asked the offensive people to please stop their arguments or we would call the police. They ceased for an hour or so but then it continued. We packed up and left. We went to the front office and again told them what was happening and their only reply was that the offenders were checking out that day. I was incredibly upset by the way it was handled by the owners of the hotel. No guests should have to be kept awake two nights in a row listening to swearing and screaming by other people. My wife was so upset that she was crying as we left.

The outside doesn’t look as nice as the room, the stairs going to the rooms could use some make over, bed & pillows really comfortable, love the shower head, was surprised water pressure was strong, I liked that the room does not have carpet, Ok for 1 or 2 nights

The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are amazingly soft & fluffy too. The gentleman that checked us in was nice, and very sweet. The hotel is close to Seal Beach Main St. and great Mexican restaurants too. For the price, this hotel is perfect. Also, my room was very clean which is important!

Room clean comfortable. I did run into the glass panel of the office, suggested a sticker at eye level be placed on glass. I hope this is done because even the manager admitted he had done it 😕

Very clean and nice in the room - the hall carpets and exterior building facade could use a bit of improvement. Carpets have stains and building paint job looks a little funky. But the room is great - very comfy.

Name was deceiving. Meant to book Best Western Surf City. Unfortunately not the right hotel. No elevator....had to drag a suitcase up 3 floors. Outside entrance to rooms. No continental breakfast. NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER Would NOT stay at this property again

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We don't mean to deceive anyone and also we do disclose that we do not have an elevator at our property. We also do not advertise any continental breakfast at our place and we have plenty of hot water in our bathrooms. Next time if your unclear about anything at the property you might want to consider calling the property before booking a room.

Good price for hotel by the beach

Everything was upgraded, beautiful, clean and comfy. The only reason I wouldn’t stay there again is because the beds and pillows were too soft. Didn’t sleep very well for 2 nights there.
