***Due to the ongoing issues with Mexico's water treatment pumps, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time.. They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped building that is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.

Ocean View at its Best
The view from this condo is amazing. We enjoyed being as close to the waves as you can get without getting wet. The apartment is as described and nicely appointed. The building is a little deceiving but the condo is very nice. Shower water pressure in the master shower was in need of attention as was the main bathroom shower doors. We would definitely stay here again. The host did a great job of communicating all the tricks to gain access.

Beautiful beach holiday
We spent a few spectacular days with the beach and ocean as our constant view and the sound of waves as our background music! We even saw dolphins in the waves several days in a row! The condo was spacious and very comfortable—just right for our needs. This was by far the nicest vacation rental we’ve rented in Imperial Beach since we started visiting our daughter and her family here five years ago. We’re so glad we found it. Thanks for making this lovely space available for our use!

The only suggestions I would give is to either provide some beginning toiletries just the basics. Or specify that those are not included. Room darkening blinds would be helpful because there are lights outside the windows that cannot be turned off. Also, a baking dish of some kind would be great. Other than that, the unit was absolutely spectacular! Our view was gorgeous! We had great weather and enjoyed our stay very much! We had plenty of room to spread out. I like the mirror on the living room wall. It gave the illusion that we had even more space which was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub, I was surprised because I didn’t see it listed as an amenity, so that was a bonus for sure! we had plenty of towels, I appreciated the fact that there was central air and heat in this unit. I thought it’s not really common in San Diego. Visiting in December, we still went barefoot and wore shorts to walk the beach. We were very close to the pier and enjoyed that little excursion. Tons of places to eat close by as well! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would do it again!

Wonderful!
The condo is tastefully furnished with a 180 degree of the beach and ocean. The location is ideal for visiting nearby restaurants and shopping. The beach is beautiful with the pier closeby. The open area with barbeques, swimming pool and hot tub are clean, friendly and well planned out. We look forward to coming back to stay again.

STUNNING LOCATION RIGHT ON IMPERIAL BEACH
With the Pacific and Imperial Beach right outside your balcony it's a terrific local and with only minor criticisms....a great place for a day/week/month stay. The property is extremely well secured requiring several levels from private reserved parking underground, key to enter the property and work the elevator, and a code to enter your room. The courtyard is immaculately landscaped with tropical succulents and various palms; the picnic tables around the gas grills are clean and inviting; the grills well maintained work fine. Our condo on the second (of three) level is a bit dated and could use some upgrades especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms are sizable, comfortable and the closet/dresser space plentiful. There are big screen tv's in both bedrooms. The television set in the living room is virtually useless in the afternoon as the bright light/sunshine off the ocean literally washes out the picture. The curtains on the beachfront windows are far from blackouts. The management provides TP and Paper Towels just at the beginning of your stay---no replacements; since we stayed 3 weeks we were required to buy our own replenishments whereas guests staying for just the weekend or a few days would not. Seems to penalize the longer stay guests for a minimal cost. The sizable swimming pool and hot tub/spa are well maintained. However, several of the rails leading up to the spa were rickety, the poolside footing needs to be repainted.... somewhat slippery. The surrounding area is beach quaint. There is an excellent new Mexican restaurant, a lively pizza palace, a dive bar, a nearby mini marke, a fine dining restaurant and fully stocked surf and beach wear shop all within easy walk. The main Imperial Beach retail mall is 10 minutes away; there are plentiful fast food and bars lining Palm Avenue from I5 to the property. Coronado is an easy 15 minute drive. There is no management on site, which is somewhat concerning; however, a text or email to their office is usually replied within minutes....during "office hours" on weekdays. Weekends and after hours is a concern. During our stay with one or two exceptions of neighbors partying with loud music, there were no signs of any security problems. The beach is fully life guarded and very carefully patrolled. For a beach front ocean-in-your-face condo..... this is a relaxing with only minor complaints a very pleasant stay.

Place was exactly as expected. View was amazing. Easy Beach access. Beds were very comfortable too. Would recommend more cook ware, like skillets. But we made do. Would come back and stay here again.
