Pros: location
Cons: I reserved four rooms for our group. Three of the four rooms had unpleasant smell, such as cigarettes and unidentified smell.
Location: Kelso, WA, near Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
It would be nice if the smell in room(s) can be get rid off.

Living in a welfare motel.

Pros: Good wi-fi and hot water.
Cons: The bathtubs need some non-skid material in their bottoms to prevent one from slipping in the shower.
Location: Location is not really convenient to much except the freeway. There is a firing range nearby.
This motel is home to many welfare people. These people like to smoke and the smell of cigarettes is everywhere. This motel did have good internet wi-fi. The motel did have good hot water. But, you are living in rooms that have housed welfare people and it shows. The room we stayed in had a non-functional smoke alarm. The furniture is what you would find at a second hand store. The free breakfast was very limited and you had to carry it back to your room to eat it. I would not recommend this motel to most discerning travelers. There is a firing range nearby and at night before sundown it sounds like you are in a battle zone.

I read the reviews and...

I thought surely it couldn't be that bad, boy was I wrong! Terrible! There were vagrants wandering the parking lot, our first room the floor was very stained, and the door lock didn't work. The cold water was turned off in the sink. They moved us to an interior room, which was ok due to fear of safety, but we were over the front desk. I heard everything as they prepped for "breakfast" starting at 5am. Beds were hard, shower was luke warm, toaster didn't toast after 5 minutes. It's not worth the savings of other area hotels!

Very cheap in price and it showed.

Cons: Noisy
Really worn and tired. The railroad it backed up to was an unpleasant surprise.
