A fabulous ,tranquil and cosy stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Leathes Head Hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was excellent. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, much more inviting and cosy than a larger establishment. Dinner was exceptional and we loved the lounge with a wood burner and beautiful views, especially with the wild weather outside! Breakfast was very good and our room was very clean and comfortable, again with amazing views of the fells. Perfect location for exploring the area and escaping for some tranquility!

Lovely cosy hotel. Delicious breakfast and very helpful, attentive staff. Bed was comfy and nice free standing bath. Some slight dating repairs need doing e.g skirting but other than that beautiful room

Nice details but a chilly stay
It's a great location and the decor is very nice. Unfortunately, the room was not warm and there wasn't hot water. That meant a cold to luke warm shower on the first evening. I managed a short hot shower the next morning, but it was luke warm again for my son.
