Would have liked to have been closer to the beach instead of the 3rd building back. Had some problems with the phone in the condo, maybe not connected properly though the staff tried to be helpful.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would do it. My wife and I were planning to come here for our babymoon. The nightmare comes in the day before our flight to Hawaii. My wife and I found out that we lost the baby and sadly couldn't go to our babymoon because my wife needed the operation done right away. Our doctor gave us a doctors note to give. Day one, called Travelocity so they can get the hotel manager to cancel our reservation. The manager says to send the doctors note and said they'll review it and give us a response in 24-48 hours. Two days later without any response, called Travelocity to call them again, same exact response. We received the same response 2 more times. Finally the day before our supposed check-out date we received an email saying due to their policy they cannot give any refund. I called in a last-ditch effort. The person I spoke to was kind, patient and understanding. The sad part is from my view, she did not have any knowledge of what happened to my wife. They spent a week not giving us a response nor even trying to contact our doctor. Just ignored us until they could say the policy won't allow it which is once hey've charged your account, you have 24 hours to cancel it. If not, tough luck. So if your young, able, don't mind the AC problem and not knowing if the room would be good (from other reviews) this place is ok. But if your human, get sick, have kids, grandparents or worst expecting please, by all means, avoid this place.

Spectacular sunsets from 4th floor deck. Condo had washer dryer - excellent, but wish we had known - we would have packed less! Overall, property is well maimtained and all personnel very friendly.

Good value

Pros: Everything you will need for your stay is already in the unit.
This condo isn't fancy, but it has everything you will need for your stay. It is across the street from the beach. I had a 1 bedroom condo and it had a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. It also has everything you will need for the beach as well. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, body board, pool noodles, umbrellas, and a cooler to take with you as well. It is in Kihei which is about an hour from Lahaina, so be prepared to drive if you are planning to go there. You will need a rental car if you stay here, unless you don't plan on leaving Kihei very much. It is walking distance to many restaurants and not too far from a Foodland Grocery store, so you can, and should buy groceries and take advantage of the kitchen that is stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils you could possibly need. They only clean the room before you arrive and after you leave, so if you are looking for daily cleaning service, this is not the place for you. Check-in requires that you go to an off-site office to check in (that is about a 10 minute drive away, hence why a car is beneficial), then go to the property and check-in there to get laundry soap, parking pass, and a map of the property. While check-in is a little awkward, check-out is a breeze. Just leave when you're scheduled to check out. Your code for the door expires at check-out and there is nothing for you to do. It was very comfortable, clean and was a good choice for the price. I would stay here again.

nice place if you like to work on vacation

Pros: very clean and well stocked
Cons: this place needs drains for the A/C units (making guests dump trays is not ok)
Location: kihei is full of all you could ever want and the beaches are among the best on maui
i will say the room itself was good, but no where does it say that you have to dump the A/C tray at least 3 times a day..if you fail to do this you will be charged extra!! so if you stay be aware of this little fact (making guests dump trays is not ok)

Pros: The slight view of the ocean.
Cons: Almost everything
Location: Being a frequent visitor of Maui, Kihei is the area I always stay. I know the area quite well.
It was across the street from the beach and the grounds were well maintained but it was extremely noisy. Starting from early in the morning, cement trucks, landscaping trucks cutting trees, etc. Reservations were made at this condo based on the "Upgraded" status. The kitchen appliances were rather new but the rest of the furniture, lamps, bed were very ancient. The bed was most uncomfortable. The closet in the bedroom was so full that you could not hang clothes. The entire condo needs to be freshened up. It definitely was not worth the cost.

Pros: See my info above. Remember that this was NOT a hotel in the conventional sense, but a CONDO project, owned by absentee owners.
Cons: Updating of some of the appliances in the Condo.
Location: Is in South Kehei across from Kameole 2 beach besides a small shopping mall with many stores and restaurants and the best Cinnamon bun store!
This was a Condominium style accommodation which is a bit dated but very comfortable. There were no hotel services per se but renters of the Condos could use the swimming pool and tennis court facilities. There was also a reserved parking stall to go with the rental. The view from our fully equipped suite - Bldg.D, Rm. 613, was terrific, facing the ocean, from where we could enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It was the only bldg. that was horizontally oriented to the ocean thus giving us a neat view. The grounds were beautiful, the tropical bird sounds were grand. The management was helpful, and the NO SMOKING policy in any of the buildings were a great touch to those of us who dislike smelling stinky smoking. Hotel location vis-a-vis beach location and eateries was a bonus. The weather was also great but the waves were a bit too much to really enjoy the Kameole 2 beach across the street. We'll be back again - soon.

Beach Condo - GREAT!

Cons: It was perfect for the two of us!
Great location, close to the beach and local food restaurants! Deli 808 was amazing! The unit was clean, cute décor and thankfully had a working AC which we definitely needed. Such a perfect place to spend our babymoon. :) Thank you!
