Staff was friendly and helped me book a bus tour for the Ring of Kerry. Hotel was in a great location, close to everything. Only downside was I had to walk next door for dinner. Would rather have been able to stay in the hotel without going outside, but the food was outstanding next door and the people there were also very friendly.

Very excited to book after reading many reviews!
Very disappointed after arrival. Driving to the hotel was not a smart choice. There was no place to drop off for checkin, both floors of the parking garage were booked and the only place to park was an unsecured gravel lot across from the hotel. We had to drag our luggage across the street which was not convenient since most of the lot is fenced off.
When checking in we were given a room with triple beds. When booked it was supposed to be just two beds. The rooms were full, so we crammed into the room. The tv remote wasn’t working. The batteries were dead. Once the batteries were replaced I think there might have been about 10-12 options. Very limited selection. Also, after we were checked in, we had to carry our luggage down the stairs to get the lift. Not so easy to do with large pieces of luggage.
Breakfast was ok. The highlight was the free chocolates in the room upon checkin.
No thank you in the future. So many other options!

Thank you for taking time to review Randles Hotel and may I apologise for your parking issues. This is a very unusual occurrence to run short as we provide over 60 complimentary spaces and have an overflow car park in our sister hotel. There is a drop off point in the Upper Car Park also. In the unusual instance of not having parking available immediately, we are happy to park the car for you. In tandem with this we offer 24 hour luggage assistance upon arrival and departure.
Our Triple Rooms are very spacious and are used as a twin on occasion. Our cooked to order breakfast is highly recommended with an extensive choice. It is unfortunate that the batteries failed in your remote control which happens from time to time.
Our team is very efficient regarding guest requests and if they were aware of your concerns, they most certainly would have done everything to ensure a more positive experience. Really glad that you enjoyed the complimentary Butlers Chocolates.

Wonderful
Pros:The people. The view. The amenities. The food.
Cons:Maybe clear recycling bins. Killarney is so beautiful, I hope that Ireland recycles and I just think it sets a good example for other local hotels.
Location:You are right in front of the Killarney National Park. There are plenty of things to do related to the park as well as a local entertainment facility
From the time we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome. We went to celebrate our 25th anniversary year and we could not have picked a better place. The staff were personable, and did a great job...from the housekeepers to the dining staff, registration and bar staff.. The staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean and charming with many amenities. The view was lovely and the food perfectly prepared. I would go back again.
