Trash in the stairway - Cigarette burn hole in blanket on bed - Toilet would not flush and was told I could fix it with a plunger myself - Ceiling in bathroom had a big hole in it looked like it was about to fall in. Front Desk girl extremely Rude & Disrespectful!

OK for the price

Pros: I liked the desk staff. They were helpful and friendly. The young man was especially so.

Cons: The non-smoking policy needs to be enforced. My husband reported and helped to extinguish a mulch fire caused by a discarded cigarette.

Location: Loved the Parkside Grille. Great food and staff!

We have stayed in different Extended Stay facilities in different cities. This one was OK, not great, not terrible. It was difficult to find that first night - I think the signs on the road were unlit. It appeared clean, but the condition of the kitchen could have been better. Pealing in the kitchen cabinetry gave me pause. I thought they were not clean. The bathroom renovations appeared to be fairly new and this was a plus. However, the sink drained slowly and the shower could have had more pressure. The bed was fairly comfortable. The refrigerator was a bit noisy, but worked well. The heat blew under the drapes, causing them to billow out and heat was not properly disbursed. We solved this by placing an object on the bottom of the drape. Perhaps someone could add weight to the bottom of them to solve the problem. The only real negative was how the short-staffing and poor planning affected the experience. For example, there appears to be no maintenance on the weekends. Garbage buckets were overflowing on Sunday into sometime Monday. The 'continental breakfast' ran out midweek. You could get coffee and cereal bars (I'm allergic to these), but the non-flavored creamer ran out and I think someone stole oatmeal packets since we had quite a few on Tuesday, but most were gone Wednesday. Finally, I really wish that recycling bins were available. We bagged ours and found a drop off. Amazing what we accumulated in a week.

great place good location

I had an over all great experience with this property. The electricity went out for only a little bit but that wasn't their fault there was two other properties next door that was out as well. It was back on within an hour or so and all was good the rest of the time I was there. They will try and accommodate you as best as they can and when I asked them for another pillow it was there in a matter of a few minutes. Very nice cleaner than most hotels and the price is very comparable to other hotels not as nice. Also the staff is very friendly and professional. One last thing if you stay there or any other property that has a American Cancer Society bear for 10.00 donation get it because it goes to a needed cancer patient.

A place to sleep

The odd number rooms in the hotel face an 8 lane highway. The entrance into the parking lot is weird and shared with 2 other hotels. Some of the other guests appeared to be homeless folks on assistance and they were hanging out at the curbs of the parking lot. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean. If you just need a place to sleep while in town for business then this would work. But make sure to get an even numbered room.

It is what it is.

I was very thankful we were only there for 3 days. The building and rooms are very old and run down. It's kind of depressing. If you want your room cleaned you have to request it and pay extra. Although it has a kitchenette you will need to pick up your kitchen wares at the office. If you care about the breakfast, it is poor here. We got a good deal and the lobby staff was nice, but otherwise this place was a bust.

Pros: Close restaurants

Cons: Noisy

Right next to highway. Couldn't sleep well. Room had no shampoo, no dishwashing liquid, which are standard in these kind of rooms... Bed is very good.

Dirty!

I stayed here for a week while I was traveling. I was hoping to use the kitchen, but before I used the stove I checked for dust. I found a lot of dust near the ring. and the fridge had stains. I wasn't pleased/
