"We had a fantastic experience at Barefoot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had 4 families: 8 adults and 17 children. We took advantage of the all inclusive option- TOTALLY the way to go! The food was wonderful! Favorites were the grouper tenders, papas fritas, Mexican Night, Asian Night & the Pig Roast! But honestly, all the food was great. Having the bartenders on site was a plus, they were so personable & really made the trip extra special. There was a large speaker there to play music, so no need to bring one. Nina & Ariel were incredible & helped book excursions & cater to all of our needs. The staff were top notch-from the cooks to the grounds staff. It felt like family by the end of our stay. Excursion/Activity Notes: -Riverboat tour was great, especially for our kids! The meal there was INCREDIBLE. -Horseback Riding was the favorite tour for many in our group. Tommy & his team were so kind and wonderful, especially with the kids. The tour was breathtakingly beautiful. **Wear pants & closed toed shoes you can get wet. -Massages on site. This was amazing! Especially on the evening of our travel day. We took advantage of this almost everyday. -Surfing: We went to the surf beach for this because it was too rough at the house. The beach was beautiful and there were many instructors & everyone got one on one attention. We did this twice. -Snorkeling was great, lots of visibility. -Monkey Jungle & Ziplining- great mission & fun but the zipling is not really for young kids."

"Our family had a great week in this beautiful condo. The view of the ocean and sound of the waves was amazing! We really enjoyed the covered patio area that opens up so nicely to the living area and kitchen. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The grounds are well kept. The beach is great for walking. The ocean was warm and a bit rough for swimming in front of the condo. The main area of Cabarete beach was good for swimming and boogie boarding We went a couple of times for dinner at Martinis just a few minutes beach walk from the condo. The menu changes daily. You can look them up on Facebook for daily posts of their menu. All you can eat Taco Tuesday was a favorite! The property manager office location had changed from what was noted in the information. They are on the second floor, main entrance from parking lot, blue building. You can have laundry done for you for a small fee (150 pesos plus tip). Take your laundry to the little blue building in the parking lot. Ours was returned the next day clean & nicely folded. There are no self serve laundry options. Highly recommend a vacation at this lovely condo."

"i rarely review hotels... but villa paraiso and the staff are fabulous. Great food, beach and cabana. But use the moquitiera... they can be tough at night"
