The staff was amazing here. They were friendly, accommodating and helpful. one thing we didn't like very much was that you had to walk outside to get to the hot tub and to get to the breakfast room. It would have been nice if it was all connected somehow.

The Mountaineer Lodge is an excellent establishment for anyone vacationing to Lake Louise who would like a clean, affordable, and convenient lodging experience. There is a lovely hot breakfast hosted in the "Little Bavarian Room" which was an excellent start to a day on the mountain. In addition, there is a free shuttle to the hill, clean rooms, and a nice jacuzzi jet tub to end of a long day. And how could I leave out the complimentary cookies, tea, and coffee in the front foyer. Prost to the Mountaineer Lodge and Rudolph!

Property was decent but it’s loud being close to the railway and highway, the doors had no weatherproofing, no fitness facilities, vending machines were broken and the name implies a grandness when really it’s just a motel for the price I expected more.
