Fluffy towels, comfy bed, nice toiletries, full kitchen and across the street from beach. Air conditioner desperately needed filter cleaning, mustiness removed from room by turning it off and letting island breezes flow. Room humidity always quite high, perhaps d/t ground floor?

It was sufficient for our needs

Pros: Pool, hot tub, kitchen, washer and dryer
Cons: New mattress on hide-a-bed, less noisy neighbors, more blankets for sleeping.
Took my mom on vacation for her 84th birthday. The room was sufficient for our needs for the most part. The bedroom (which was for my mom) was comfortable. However, the hide-a-bed in the living room (where I slept) was so old the mattress had no support and woke up the first morning with a backache. After that I left the bed folded up and put sheets on cushions of couch to sleep on which was comfortable enough but anyone larger than me (I am only 5'2" and 115 pounds) would probably roll off every time they tried to roll over. Housekeeping only comes once a week to change sheets and towels - when they came took extra sheets and did not leave any. We also had to request extra blankets and pillows because there were not enough for two people. The resort was nice enough and the pool area with hot tub was great. Only had a couple of nights where the people next door were partying and had to ask them to turn down the music on one such night. The front desk staff are not there very often and not knowledgeable about facilities. Any activities, concierge services or continental breakfasts are at one of their sister resorts across the street.

Oops no rooms

Booked at the Kahana Villa, check in was at 4:00 which we had to drive around for 5 hours before we could check in. When we did check in they had no rooms and booked us across the street at the Kahana beach, which was very nice and right in he beach so we couldn't complain very nice rooms and friendly staff. I believe they are sister companies or owned by the same people. So I can't really review Kahana Villa but give Kahana Beach a 9.

Cockroaches appeared in the kitchen the first night; they were in the sink, on the counter & stove, and in the dishwasher. The room phone to the office barely worked, but it was after 7pm and the call was directed to the hotel they are affiliated with across the street; they said nothing can be done until morning. We packed our things and spent an unnerving night there. We were move to another room first thing in the morning.

Wow! Even better than expected!!

Pros: Spacious rooms. Location. View. Clean.
Location: Just across the street from the beach. Restaurant across the street with $5 breakfast.
I wasn't expecting a place as nice and as huge as this. The rooms were so spacious! The bedroom, living room, dining area, bath room, and full kitchen all were so roomy and super clean. I didn't want to leave! The bed was super comfy. I loved the huge closet. Nice size televisions in the bed room and living room. Lovely patio area with lawn furniture. The view was beautiful! I had a view of the ocean and of the beautiful landscape. Just 1 minute walk from the beach! I happened to see a huge turtle coming to shore which was truly amazing! At the hotel across the street I had breakfast every day, which was only $5.
