Stayed three nights actually. Three nights is just right for me, 4 is too many. I haven't stayed at the Luxor in 25 yrs as it is a little south of my usual haunts, but let me write this, I had a great time. It is very open inside the pyramid and I enjoyed the spacious feel to the place. We only ate at the breakfast cafe and it was nice. The food court upstairs did provide some late night pizza for us. The pool was nice as there were not many children there, however I don't think it was an adult only pool. I dislike hearing Marco Polo for more than 1 minute. MGM has a very nice pools. I like the pool at the Flamingo too, not only for the layout, but those pools create more social opportunities. Bottom line, I'd recommend it to friends, and I'd enjoy staying here again.

we stayed in Luxor Hotel for 4 nights. since there is EDC festival, the hotel are fully booked, the hotel suggested to upgrade our room to a suite thinking that it will be a nice change after traveling for 12 hours. we were so disappointed about the condition of the room. it's old, the Jacuzzi is not a Jacuzzi anymore but just a regular tub. carpets are stained, air-conditioning unit is noisy. though some of the hotel staff are nice and helpful.

The Strip not a Strip Mall

Pros: Much to see and do.
Cons: Speed up the registration process.
Location: Hotel is close to everything.
Bell-hop lead me to believe that he would handle the luggage, from the moment he removed them from the car to my receipt of them in the room. I was given a ticket for the bags and briefed on the procedure to have them delivered. When requesting the luggage I discovered another individual had delivered them, not the one who off-loaded them from the car. I informed that person of the former bell-hop's misinformation. Since I'd given that person a generous tip thinking he would see my bags from start to finish, I told the delivery hop they could now split the tip. He was not very happy. In a loud, disgusting and dismissive(neither at me) manner he told me that the first hop was a liar. I didn't disagree. Other than this incident, it was a good stay.

Rooms a little dated. Other than that I loved it. Will stay here again.

Had higher expectations

Pros: The best part of our hotel stay was the breakfast buffet, which had a lot to offer & was very good.
Cons: More attention to cleaning & maintenance.
Location: Location was good, close to shopping, other hotels, dining & casinos. Easy access to bus stop & other transportation.
Room had no mini fridge or coffee maker, which are two key items to have for more than one night stay. Hotel could use some updating.

Very upset with the security deposit that is not disclosed and required at check-in. Not even the basic accommodations like a microwave, hairdryer or fridge for it to cover.

Staff was nice. Hotel room was disappointing because it was in the older side of hotel. I have stayed in the newer side without having to pay extra.
