We enjoyed our stay at the MGM, it is a beautiful hotel and the pool area is wonderful. It is so large we didn't get to every area or restaurant by a long shot. It was an exciting adventure.

We stayed in an executive suite, which was a good size for us (we travelled with 2 kids - 12 and 8). There was no mini fridge or coffee maker in the room, which meant we had to spend $20+ on coffee every morning at Starbucks, and had no place to keep our own drinks, should we wanted to purchase them. This was an obvious attempt to get you to spend more money at the resort, which is already expensive as it is. It is Vegas, after all. The walls between rooms were also pretty thin, and we could hear the neighbor's television, talking, and pulling up the window blinds. These are all minor complaints, however, as the room and resort overall were very pleasing and we enjoyed our stay.

Did not like the play with words, when we booked the confirmation advised free breakfast with your stay. I booked for six days and was told at checked in we would only get breakfast for one day. You could not use the fridge in the room unless you agree to a $50 daily restocking fee but you could rent a fridge for a $25 daily fee. No coffee pot of water fountain must purchase all drinks for $3.68.

Our room wasn't very clean, cheetos and potato chips on the floor next to the bed. Windows were dirty. Staff wasn't very friendly except at the new york pizzeria. The biggest issue was they make us pay $35 a day for the resort fee to help cover cable and I tenet costs etc but the cable went out at least 3 times every time we tried to watch TV and the internet hardly worked also.

Honestly, I've stayed here twice before (I usually stay at Mandalay Bay or Bellagio when I visit, and at both without complaint). The previous two visits went well, and I felt like it was decent value for the money. However, this last stay fell way below the usual standard. I had asked about military deals when checking in and was told there were none (there are actually several). The front desk staff was fairly surly during both check-in and check-out (and particularly so at the latter). The croupiers at the table were generally inattentive to the gamblers around the table. The room was decent, but the sink didn't drain well. I felt bad leaving my shaving ends in the sink for the maids. The maids did an excellent job with the room; no complaints there (in fact, when I encountered them in the hall, they were very pleasant). The pool area was also pretty good. The food services... I would recommend any restraint but the buffet for breakfast (I didn't try any other meals, and would recommend Starbucks or something on the strip); it simply wasn't worth the value for the money. I suspect my next stay will be at one of my other two regular haunts, or possibly the Palms Place, just north of the strip.

The stay here was awful. They have the worst parking garage. The inbound and outbound traffic at the entrance of the garage crosses on two 90-degree curves such that you can’t see the opposing traffic. Then it is a mad house inside the garage. You’ll need to be very cautious walking through. It is quite a walk to the hotel lobby so be prepared for that. The check-in took almost ½ hour to get thru the corals. Then the charges began. I quickly found out that parking is not included in the already ridiculous “Resort Fee”. That’ll be another $15/day thank you. Then you get hit with taxes on all the fees! Got to the elevator and half the lighting was out so you could barely see the numbers for the floors. No wonder one reviewer said they got robbed in the elevator. Since I complained about the added parking fee they told me my room was upgraded. What a joke that turned out to be. We were placed on the airport side so we could hear helicopters and planes as if they were flying past the window all night long. The air conditioning struggled to hold the low 70’s in the room. There were no amenities in the room, not so much as a hair dryer. If you touched the refrigerator or the snacks they put above it they would charge you another $50. The handle on the shower wasn’t attached. The whole hotel smelled of smoke. Everything in it was extremely overpriced. This ought to give you the idea of what to expect or a few reasons not to stay here.

Beautiful hotel

We had so much fun on our first trip to Vegas staying at MGM Grand. The hotel was so beautiful and had everything we needed. Shows, countless food options, the casino, everything was great. We had THE best room. High up and could watch the airplanes take off and land across the road. Could everything for miles. It was so perfect. We would sit in the two chairs in front of the windows and drinking the alcohol from the fridge! LOVE! The parking was a bit of a walk, but it was all within a parking garage so not in the elements and we felt safe. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Honestly, the room was comfortable, clean, staff very kind and helpful. Really disappointed there wasnt any fridge, safe or coffee maker in the room for the price of the upgrade to a nicer room. Even to stay in a cheaper hotel those things are provided.
