The property itself is nice, clean, and very accessible to both the strip and freemont experience. However, being that it is family operated and owned, you are under CONSTANT surveillance as if they EZPECT something to happen. BADD CHU CHU!

Needed a cheap place to stay for a convention in Vegas. This was close to a convention bus route and to Battlefield Vegas... so the location was great.
The room was fairly baren, but clean and everything worked.... except the internet and phone. WiFi worked on one of my phones for 2 days, then quit. It never worked on my other phone or my laptop. The staff said the internet rarely worked and couldn't help.
The drunks and apparent druggies/dealers frequenting the property were entertaining.
One night we had SUPER noisy neighbors who kept yelling well into the night. I called the front desk (using my cell phone since the room phone didnt' work). The woman was rather aggressive in telling me she could call the noisey room, but that was it. She couldn't knock on the door or kick them out. Either I could deal with the noise, check out, or she could move me to another room. She acted like I was the problem for calling. Fortunately, after I called all was quiet nextdoor.
I didn't personally feel unsafe, as it was 2 big guys sharing a room and we look like cops. So, all of the lowlifes scattered when we showed up. But I would not want my wife or daughters staying at that motel by themselves.
Oddly, the lady at the desk actually told me that I looked too well dressed to stay at there.
This wasn't the worst neighborhood we've stayed in for a vegas convention. I doubt we'll try this hotel again because they can't/won't deal with loud guests. We go to Vegas for work trips, not parties

There was no Wi-Fi during my three-night visit. I also heard another guest complaining about this. The hotel network shows up in the list of available networks, but when you try to log in, it says, “no internet.”
You can try using an outside network like Cox network. Cox has is free trial option, or you can pay for a 24-hour pass. Or you can walk down to Denny’s and use their Wi-Fi.
You have to pay a cash deposit when you check in. The deposit must be in cash. No credit cards or debit cards can be used for the deposit. The deposit amount is $100, or $200 if you are paying for your room with cash. The deposit is refundable if you don’t trash the room. There is an ATM in the hotel lobby, but the maximum you can withdraw in a single transaction is $40, and there is a fee of $4.50 per withdrawal. I decided to go next-door to the casino to get the remainder of the cash from an ATM.
The pool is closed, and apparently has been for months at least. There is a large “No Vacancy” sign outside the office door. Apparently, they get plenty of online business, and maybe don’t need or want the neighborhood riff-raff walking in. And there is plenty of that.
The hotel is a sprawling two-story building built in the 1950s or 60s. It is across from the faded glory of the Circus Circus hotel and casino. New high-rise buildings have been going up in the neighborhood, and so I expect this hotel will not be here for many more years.
