Your are on your own

Pros: It is an older building and beautifully restored, with high ceilings and wooden banisters and doors. Good location
Rooms are large and inexpensive relatively speaking. However, we were evacuated from the hotel for one night due to the discovery of a bomb in a neighboring property. The hotel did nothing to find an alternative for the night and did not reimburse for the night when their hotel was not available. Even if they didn't want to pay for the extra expense, they could have at least called around to neighboring hotels to see if there were rooms available and what the rates were. Overall, the attitude was 'you are on your own'. Since we were evacuated late at night without warning, I expected more consideration. Otherwise, we rented for a week. Housekeeping was supposed to come once, which they didn't. Traffic was loud at night, and the construction site next door was noisy during the day. It is an older building and beautifully restored, with high ceilings and wooden banisters and doors. It could have been fun but it wasn't.
