Maison Marcel
The house was immaculate. Breakfast was good! The property is affiliated with the excellent French Goat restaurant. Our dinner and service were delightful. Hotel guests get a $25 discount! The wine list is organized from light to heavier for the red wines with a good selection.

La MAISON
La MAISON is a classic historic home with beautiful furnishings by known decorator and we had the entire house by ourselves( normally three rooms for rent) to quality but breakfast although very nice was a bit too little and you do hear the noice from the street a bit. However it’s special and elegant retreat.

spent one wonderful night here, would have stayed longer had I known how luxurious this home is.... was quiet, elegant, and we were not bothered by other guests the night we stayed, very private!

Beautiful old home decorated by a prodigy of Dorothy Draper. It was sparkling clean! The breakfast was delightfully French — real French bagels, fresh fruit, French yogurt and coffee served in a spectacular breakfast room. Arthur (the owner) was a perfect host — there when you needed him — otherwise out of sight. Those readers who frequent lots of inns and B&Bs know how annoying “hovering hosts” can be. Maison Marcel was perfect — we will be back!

Excellent B&B
An excellent place to stay. Nice and quiet. Very beautiful house. My wife and I would definitely stay there again. The restaurant they own & manage downtown, the french goat, is also outstanding. We had a superb meal.
