We stayed here in August and unfortunately our stay included a hurricane, which was a downer but not part of why I gave this rating. The staff were great and our butlers were amazing. Super responsive to every ask, and extremely helpful as we had to navigate rescheduling our tee time due to the hurricane. What I never found on any reviews was that they constantly up charge you at every turn, so I wanted to make others aware. In the past when we have stayed at other all inclusive resorts, you get access to all liquor except premium wine bottles you wish to purchase. Here they have different levels of liquor depending on the room you are staying in. If you want Tito’s, Jack Daniel’s, or upgraded tequila, you have to stay in the towers. Otherwise the best vodka option is absolute. No matter how high of a level you are though, they still have things that are constantly an extra charge, but prominently displayed at bars. Jameson? Extra charge no matter what. Aperol spritz? Extra charge. And more I won’t list. Every restaurant has a section of their menu that is extra charge as well. This was frustrating as we navigated bars and restaurants to be notified by staff that things we were ordering were an extra charge. (Thankful the staff notified you though, again, kudos on great service by their entire teams). We got pushed twice to attend what sounded like a timeshare meeting (although they didn’t call it that) for additional hotel credits. Nice clean resort. We won’t be returning

This property is beautiful! It’s very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed being able to go up to PB Sunset for a more lively atmosphere and then retreating back to Pacifica for quiet fires on the beach. It was the best of both worlds!

This property was beautiful. The rooms were subpar, for a 5 star resort, more luxury was expected. Although this was an all inclusive deal, I still was required to pay for wine; which was never identified that it was an additional cost. Pool side food was tasty. Unfortunately, no activities on-site. Most of the staff was friendly however appeared to caterer more to the Caucasian guest. Although, I booked my transportation early, I was required to pay an extra $75 for a private airport ride as the hotel didn't honor my voucher (identified my fight was too early). I didn't quite understand why, we had to sign for everything on an all inclusive plan. Although this resort identifies its self as a 5 star, I have to disagree. Wouldn't recommend as my stay was not a 5 star experience.
